Macro Flowers

This photo grabbed my attention the second I saw it. It was different than all the others submitted, which is quite the accomplishment in itself. It combines the perfect balance of light and shadow, which just enough to colors to make it interesting without being conflicting. It’s a wonderfully composed piece as well. I love it!

I love this image because, unlike many, it manages to have a floral subject, and still be captivating in black and white. Often times, flowers photographed in black and white lose texture, depth, and interest. However, this image retains all of that. Excellent job!

This image is absolutely delightful! It's got this strange sort of whimsy to it, with the bright flowers and the strange almost alien-like spikes on those branches or stems. It's really unique and very well composed. I love this, excellent job!

This is one of those images that captivates you and makes you want to look at it again and again. Its unforgettable. All the colors sort of blending and flowing into each other while maintaining enough contrast to pop against that yellow background. Wonderful job!

This image is beautifully composed. I love the color scheme, its muted enough that it adds this almost dreamy quality to the photo. The spikiness of the flower and the softness of the overall image are also a wonderful contrast. I really love these styles of pictures. Great job!
