Magnificent Atlantic Puffins (in colour)

Narrowly missed out on first place, another superb photo. I loved the early morning/late evening light on the puffin and foreground. The depth of field leading to out of focus background ensures the puffin stands out. Lovely and sharp also. A worthy second place. Well done and thankyou for entering the competition.

A very colourful shot which caught my eye from the beginning. I'm not sure what the red is but it stands out against the black colour of hte puffin's wings and upper half of the body. Well done and thanks for entering.

A very difficult competition to judge, moreso than I thought, but this image is excellent. I loved the bokeh effect of the glistening sea behind the puffins. The puffins also look very sharp and in focus as are the little sea pinks on the grass. A worthy top place, well done and thankyou for entering.
