Meerkats in the Wild

I really love the symmetry in this one! The colours are nice and warm and show you the atmosphere of the Kalahari.

The depth of field is incredible. Both animals are in focus and the very blurry background really makes them stand out. A true winner!

Very nice image and the focus is exactly where it should be in my personal opinion. Love the dirty nose.

To me the image is a little bit on the blue side. Thinking of an animal that lives in the arrid hot and dry places in Africa it could have been a little bit warmer.

But over all a very nice portrait!

Another nice portrait of this stunning animal! I love the sandy parts around the nose and eyes. It immediately lets you know this one has been working hard just now.

The light in the eye gives the image an extra sparkle!

This is such a typical meerkat pose! The little claws in front of that cute belly. I like it that the surroundings are quite visible. You can see the desolate place this creature lives in.

Because of the colors you can almost feel the heat! Nicely done!

This is just too cute to be true. These two look like they've been married for ages.

It's very nice to see the little mount they climbed on, a typical spot for a meerkat to do this look out posing!
