Minimalism in Colour

This picture, just like the picture of the pink wall in my top ten, is very simple and yet interesting to look at. It is one of the exceptions in my selection of images for the top ten and highly recommended, because I have mainly chosen images for these categories, where I think the colors have a decisive importance for the appearance of the images :-)

This is probably one of the simplest images of this competition. A wall with a bricked-up window. The image has only one color, but this is appealing and appears in several shades due to the shadows which help to make this image interesting. The beautiful texture of the wall is a further plus. My compliment and congratulations on a place as number three :-)

First of all, a big thank you to everyone who submitted photos to this competition "Minimalism in colours". it has been a pleasure to choose my top ten from so many fantastic images. I have awarded first place to this very eye-catching image. A simple, minimal composition with geometric shapes, which are highlighted beautifully by the strong colours.
