I think you have captured the size and prominence of the volcanic mountains in Hawaii for how massive they truly are. While not much color at first glance, the more you look at the photo the more vibrant it gets from the volcanic ash to the rusted iron and green vegetation. The light being cast onto the slope of this mountain along with the dense clouds behind makes it a perfect centerpiece for a photo.
