Congratulations on first place in the "Music" contest. There were many excellent images but for me music is a combination of sound, feeling, energy and emotion which are all portrayed in this image. In addition I love the composition, colours and lighting which complement this sharp, clean shot. Exposure could well have been a challenge but you've handled it very well. Top shot!

An extremely busy photograph but I really like it. For me its unusual to see an orchestra in this way ie all casually dressed but you still feel the seriousness of this 'practice' session. Your choice of location to shoot from brings this all together for a very satisfying 'busy' image and I can certainly hear the music

Taking photos related to music, and the environments that come hand in hand with it, is a fascinating way to explore the arts and raw, human experiences. It can be a live music performance or the elegant lines of a perfectly-crafted instrument – any photos that draw on ‘Music’ will be welcome for this contest.
There were a number of what I term 'creative images', not normally something I would consider as I prefer 'straight' shots. However this dramatic image did impact on me with its excellent creative composition and choice of colours and it does invoke a music theme, in a very dreamy way. Certainly a powerful image and one that inspires me to perhaps consider trying something like this as I continue to learn and improve my own skills.
This had the potential to be a top shot. Taken from a slightly different angle or a split second or so difference and you could have made such a difference using those bright lights to your advantage. It's difficult to know more about the situation as there no details about the situation and no EXIF data. You should definitely consider using burst mode, if your camera allows, as a split second can make a massive difference to what you capture. If this was the only shot you got, you could also improve it with some post production editing, to try and bring out more detail.
