This is a great image, unique and well thought out. The composition, lighting and exposure are spot on but it is the clever idea that makes this unique. Having the cyclist just reach the top of their hill also gives a positive feeling. A worthy winner and something to aspire to creating on a dark winter evening at home.

This is such a well setup and lit composition, it could almost be a natural landscape scene. I love the black background and well lit trees and shadows and it leaves me intrigued how the lighting was created. It is such a calming and satisfying photo but also inspires me to set up something and try learn how to light like this
A simple idea to start with maybe but a really well done use of lighting. It is an image I look at it really inspires me to spend a few winter evenings enjoying myself trying to make a similar image. I am quite sure it is much harder than it looks and I will struggle so well done for making this look so natural and balanced.
