This is a lovely, intimate portrait which stands out from the usual Kingfisher images. I love the fine detail and colour palette, along with the pin sharp detail on the eye. I'd consider increasing the exposure slightly to bring out this detail more.

This image has great detail and I love the drool dripping from the hyenas chin as it adds an extra element. I would consider cropping in slightly from the left to make the hyena look into the frame more as I feel this would have a more aesthetically pleasing composition, but this isn't essential!

The focus and exposure is spot on with this image and I love the position and shape of the meerkat. To make it even better, I would consider cropping in from the left so that the meerkat looks into the frame as I think this would draw peoples eyes into the image even more.

The exposure, composition, focus and colour balance are really well achieved and you've captured an intimate and lovely moment! If you want to reproduce this image on a larger scale I'd consider using noise removal software to clean up the background grain slightly, but it definitely doesn't detract from the image at all.

I really love this image: the shape draws you in and it works incredibly well in black and white. The focus and exposure is well done and the composition is really appealing. I'd consider increasing the exposure ever so slightly on the bedding to isolate the cat even more, but this is a personal preference.

The focus is so crisp and clear here that it really draws your eyes in and the colour palette and exposure work really well. The profile of the dog is aesthetically pleasing and as a side note, the caption is pretty comical too!

I really love the profile and perspective of this image. The reflection on the water of the line of cows is gorgeous and the dog in the foreground really gives the image depth and context. I'd consider decreasing the exposure slightly on the bank, sky and cows but otherwise, an awesome image!

The perspective of this image works really well, with the eye line and body shape of the lizard drawing your attention into the image and keeping it fixed. The shallow depth of field works well and the exposure and colour palette is spot on.

This is a divine photograph! I love the light, colour palette and the focus and exposure is spot on. The composition is perfect and the paper bag acts as an aesthetically pleasing natural frame, drawing your eyes into the image.

This is a cracking capture, with the focus, composition and exposure spot on and an aesthetically pleasing colour palette. The symmetry, low perspective, depth of field and the expression on the dog really makes the image something special. A great job!

The light in the rainforest is extremely difficult to work with and the fact that the Gorillas are black makes capturing a well exposed image all the more difficult, but it's been well achieved here. The high ISO settings aren't damaging the image quality, the colour palette is lovely and whilst a wider depth of field would have helped get the young one in focus, the settings were already pushed to their limit!

I love the perspective and expressions on this image as the personality of both dogs really seems to shine through. The exposure and focus is spot on and the colour palette is natural and appealing. Whilst it's not possible in this image due to the crop, I'd advise trying to ensure the horizon is straight in images, but I can fully appreciate how awkward it can be photographing pets at the best of times to have to think about this too!
