New Joiners - Animals #512

I love how there's nearly perfect symmetry on this dogs head, which means the decision to put her in the centre of the image works really well. The atmosphere is great and I love the contrast but I'd try and increase the exposure slightly on the head so that it pops more from the background.

The crisp detail and vibrant colour on this image is exquisite and really pops from the screen. The composition is good and the focus is sharp. I'd consider increasing your depth of field slightly on future attempts to ensure the entire animal is in focus.

I absolutely love this image as it really captures a great, comical moment. The colours are vibrant and really pop and the focus is good. I'd consider increasing the depth of field in future to ensure both subjects are in focus and I think this would work really well as a square crop too.

I love how the tree and foliage acts as a natural frame around this beautiful kestrel and the exposure is good despite the bright background. It's always best to give the subject extra 'breathing space' in case action like this happens, but despite the clipped wing it still works well as an image.

I really love how crisp this image is, making the meerkat really stand out from the backdrop. The pose and direct eye contact really draws your attention and focus into the image and keeps it fixed and whilst the colour palette is quite muted, it works well here.

I love how the foreground and foliage frames this handsome bull. The colour palette, exposure and focus is spot on, with the focus especially helping to isolate him from the surroundings. Wherever possible, try to get your subject to look into the frame to draw peoples attention in.

I love the shallow depth of field in this image, which really draws your eyes into that piercing stare. The focus is crisp and sharp and the composition is spot on, but I'd consider adjusting the white balance slightly to make the image a touch cooler.

The focus is so crisp on this image which really helps make the rhino pop from his surroundings, despite them being a little clustered in the background. The exposure and colour palette works really well and whilst typically you should get the subject to look or move into the frame, this can be tricky in a zoo scenario.

I love how the horse really pops out of this image, with great contrast from his surroundings. Whilst compositionally this image might break some 'rules' with the pony looking out of the frame, some of the best images do this and it works really well here.

I love the shape of this crane and how it acts as a leading line into the eye. The colour of the face and eye really pops from the image which is helped further by the crisp focus and shallow depth of field.

I really love this image, which great context of the sweeping and vast landscape and the bison in the foreground. The composition follows the rule of thirds well with the subject looking into the frame and the exposure is spot on.

I really love the perspective and composition of this image. Whilst the resolution may not rival that of top cameras, the detail is still relatively crisp and it works really well in black and white, especially with the high contrast.

I absolutely love this image! The panoramic crop works incredibly well, especially with the subject centralised and running straight towards us. The colours are divine and the depth of field works well to give us context of the surroundings. Great job!

You captured a great action moment here and I love how the wings are splayed open. The composition works well with the hawk looking into the frame and drawing you in. The focus, composition and exposure are spot on, culminating in an overall great image!

I love the low angle of this image, with the piercing eyes really drawing your attention into the image. The cat looks into the frame and the exposure and colour palette are aesthetically pleasing. I'd consider increasing the vibrance slightly to make it pop even more.
