I love how the foliage and fencing helps to frame this gorgeous pooch and you've captured him in a great pose. The colour palette is aesthetically pleasing and the composition works well with the subject looking into the image, drawing your eye in.

I love how the fine mist in the background helps to isolate this puffin and makes the colours pop. The focus and exposure is spot on and the depth of field means that no distracting elements are introduced to the background. I'd consider cropping in from the right to make the subject look into the frame more.

The focus is crisp and the shallow depth of field really helps to isolate the subject from the background. The exposure is good but I'd consider cropping in from the right to get the subject to look into the frame more and follow the rule of thirds.

I love the crisp focus on this kitten and the harsh lighting actually works well to isolate him/her. The shadow of the kitten adds an additional element of interest and the eyeline really draws your eyes and attention into the image.

I love the content expression on this deer and I think it works really well in black and white. The composition is great with the subject looking into the frame but it's always advisable to include the entire animal in images like this, so if it's a crop try to bring the lower foot back in to make it even better!

The light on this image is divine and really adds to the atmosphere. The exposure and composition is spot on but I'd argue that a larger aperture (lower f/ number) would have worked better as smaller apertures can introduce diffraction and softening to your image with no benefit.

You captured a lovely action moment here and despite not being confident with your settings at the time, you've recognised what could be improved in the future (depth of field) which is great! You included all of the pups without cropping anything out accidentally which is a common mistake in the heat of the moment.

I love how the zebra pops significantly from the backdrop, partially due to the colour contrast and the shallow depth of field. The focus is crisp and helps to isolate him even further. I'd consider cropping in slightly from the left, but it will be impossible to crop all background distractions out.

The gorgeous, golden tones of this image really make it stand out and I adore how the hanging trees and reflections frame this swan so perfectly. It's usually best to expose for the highlights when you have such contrast on your main subject to avoid any blown highlights.

I love the unique perspective of this image, showing the contrast between wildlife and urban life. The composition is spot on, both with the position of the macaque and the horizon in the background, but I'd consider increasing the exposure on the subject slightly to bring out the detail in the face.

I love how crisp this image is, both due to the focus and the depth of field. It works really well in black and white to make the contrast pop more and whilst it's difficult sometimes, try to avoid cropping elements of your subject such as the tips of the horns here (as difficult as that can be with a longhorn!)

Black headed gulls are often heavily overlooked for wildlife photography, but you've shown here that they have merit and potential! I love this image in black and white and the increased contrast really does make it pop more and keeps you exploring the image.

The composition on this image is truly spot on, following the rule of thirds really well with the main subject. The exposure is also well done despite the bright day. The one factor you couldn't battle is the heat haze, which softens images, but it doesn't ruin this image at all.

I love how the spotlight on this cat really makes it pop from the dark surroundings and draws your eyes in. Arguably it could have worked even better if the subject looked into the frame rather than out, but I'd argue this composition works too despite 'breaking' the 'rules'.

I love this composition. Whilst it arguably breaks some 'rules' or guidelines, it works well in this instance and shows why the rules are made to be broken. It works well in black and white with the increased contrast really drawing your eyes into the subject.
