The composition on this image works really well with the subject moving into the frame, drawing your eye in. The exposure is spot on with no lost details or distractions and the focus looks crisp, with good depth of field.

I love the motion blur in the wings whilst the face remains crisp and sharp. The depth of field is spot on to isolate him from his surroundings and his eyes are really piercing. The low angle works really well to isolate him too.

This image works really well in black and white, helping the seals to pop from their surroundings. I love the aspect ratio as it's not something that's frequently used. The contrast is fantastic and you chose your aperture well to maximise the detail and depth.

I think he looks as surprised as you probably were...What a fabulous encounter! I love the composition which is helped further with the natural framing from the bracken. The colours are gorgeous and really pop, especially the rustic reds from his back.

What a beautiful bird! I love the pastel tones on this image and the branches in the surroundings almost act as a natural frame to draw your eye in. The focus is crisp and the shallow depth of field reduces any distracting elements.

I love the perspective on this image and whilst centralising your subject doesn't often work if that subject is looking in a certain direction, it definitely does here. The colour palette is gorgeous and warm and the focus is crisp.

I love the vibrance on this cuckoos bill and eye as it really pops from the surroundings. The depth of field is spot on with no distracting elements being introduced to the background and a fast shutter speed ensured you avoided any unintentional motion blur.

I desperately wanted to award this image as I think artistically, it's fabulous! I love the black and white effect and the high contrast works really well. The only thing that stopped me was the motion blur due to a slow shutter speed. It's clear you did everything possible to get more light in and was forced to slow the shutter speed down but I'd have preferred more grain from a higher ISO.

You captured a great moment here with high paced action and a spot on exposure despite it being a bright day. The focus is good and the composition works really well. The depth of field (due to the focal length) ensured that both subjects were in focus!

I really love the overall concept of this image and the pose of the swan is absolutely cracking, but there are small elements that hold it back from its full potential. I would have increased the aperture and focused further forward (such as the underbelly) to ensure his face was as close to in focus as possible. Easier said than done when you're in the heat of the moment mind!

What a cheeky little chap. I love the composition of this image, with his expression and eye line drawing you into the image really well. The exposure is good with no blown highlights despite it looking like a bright day.

The detail on this lovely subject is pretty stunning with perfect, crisp focus and a great depth of field. The colour palette is lovely and you've avoided blowing any highlights despite it looking to be a bright day. A great image!

What an incredible backdrop: I love how you've included the surroundings in this image as it simply wouldn't have that punch without them and the horses give a great sense of scale. The light hitting the mountains is just divine and atmospheric.

The colour on this red squirrel really pops from the background, which is helped further with a shallow depth of field to isolate him from his surroundings. The focus is great and the shutter speed ensured that you didn't suffer from any unintentional motion blur.
