You chose the shutter speed well to ensure all motion is frozen and I love the sand spraying up in the background as it adds an extra element to the image. The composition is good and it works well with a square crop.

The shallow depth of field is great here as we still have context of the city surroundings whilst ensuring they're not distracting. The colour palette is natural and aesthetically pleasing and you've nailed the focus and exposure, with the windowsill drawing you in.

The colour palette on this image is so warm and aesthetically pleasing and I love the framing, low angle and perspective. The depth of field ensures that all subjects are in focus but also without introducing distracting elements in the background.

I absolutely love the colour palette on this image as it goes to show how aesthetically pleasing the pastel tones of the blue hour can be before or after the sun rises or sets. The pose is charismatic and really shows the personality of this pooch!

The bracken in the foreground and background works well to frame this handsome buck and also adds to the contrast and pop of the subject. Be cautious when photographing animals like this to try and avoid cropping off extremities: it's often best to include them in the original image.

What an absolutely cracking image! I love the desaturated colour palette and the reflection paired with the unique looking rocks and shapes work together to create a beautiful overall image. The composition is spot on with the heron looking into the frame and drawing you in.

You've captured the intricate details on the scales and eye so well and the water only adds to the colours vibrance and 'pop'. You wouldn't know it's been shot through glass as you've ensured there's no perceivable reflections or distortion.

The spotlight on this image works so incredibly well to draw you into the eye and those stunning intricate details and patterns. The shape of the body acts as a leading line to help draw you in and there are no distracting elements at all.

It can sometimes be challenging to capture a subject in a messy tree without adding unnecessary distractions and losing the viewers attention. This is a great example of how to avoid this as the branches frame the subject incredibly well!

I love the low key effect of this image and how well the fine details of the feathers on the back pop from the image. It can sometimes be tempting to centralise the subject but try and get the subject to look into the frame where possible.

The low angle on this image works really well to give the viewer a sense of scale, depth and perspective. I love the soft bokeh and light in the background and the path acts as a leading line to draw you into the tiger.

Whilst this image technically breaks some of the 'rules' or guidelines with the main subject looking out of the frame, it still works well and shows the rules are made to be broken! I think the image works well in black and white and I love the long shadows and contrast.
