This a remarkable wide shot of Snowy Egrets and taken with an iPhone no less! The blue sky, which doesn't work in many cases, fits the scene perfectly and compliments the white birds nicely. I enjoy the different postures on display here and how each egret I looking in a specific direction. A very artistic shot!

This is a gorgeous bird photo filled with great color and textures thanks to the supporting flowers. I love the overall composition to include the pano crop and centering of the subject. The depth of field used by the photographer works well here as the bird and supporting elements are sharp and the background is nice and smooth.

There is great symmetry in this image based on the zebras' look. The black and white conversion works nicely with these animals and the bright background. I also enjoy the vertical composition here to include the diagonal line provided by both subjects from one corner of the frame to the other.

I love the sense of open space in this shot and the positioning of both lions within it. The photo has a painterly like quality due to the soft layering in the background, which adds to it in my opinion. I wonder where the lion in the foreground is staring and can only imagine that it's many more miles of open savannah.

I like when human elements or the human hand is incorporated within animal images as you have here. Squirrels are super cute and always make charismatic subjects. I'm loving the close perspective, the feeding behavior, and incorporation of a tree in the background as it helps tell the entire story.

This horse image brings the viewer directly into a specific vantage point. I'm imagining myself looking out the window of an old barn during an early morning. The surrounding fog provides for a great mood and incorporates a sense of mystery of what lies beyond the foreground. A relaxing scene that you wouldn't mind walking into.

I love the color harmony on display here between the flower and the bee as it works very well! The bee's posture is rather unique and it fits nicely in the center of the frame. I also quite like the square crop and out of focus flowers that are incorporated in the background.

The curve of the web first stood out to me when I came across this spider image. I appreciate how the web comes out of the lower right corner and arcs through the frame, dividing it into two sections that are brought together by the subject. The out of focus bokeh in the background adds a nice touch as well.

The complicated and busy foliage really bring this photo to life by providing color, a sense of place, and natural framing for the deer. The vignette is done tastefully and brings the viewer's eyes right in to the subject, without taking away from the surroundings. There's also a pleasant diagonal line in the lower right corner of the frame that appears after closer study.

Blue and yellow are complimentary colors and you can see why with this jellyfish image. Interesting animals with great shapes. I like the usage of a slower shutter speed that incorporates some blur and sense of motion. There is also good clarity in the image considering it was taken through glass. Interesting animals with great shapes.

I've been photographing deer for many years and still haven't been able to see that brief moment when they shed their velvet. It's a great behavioral moment and one that you can really appreciate since not many ever see this. I love the red blood that's visible on the antlers.

Both the symmetry and contrast make this image come together for the viewer. In terms of symmetry, you have the positioning of both animals as well as the sticks in the lower corners. For contrast, you have the light and dark coming together physically through touch. The out of focus shepherds help bring the entire moment together.

Easter Bluebirds are gorgeous thrushes and provide a pop of color wherever they are found as you can see here. The perch and wing position of the bird help bring the shot to life. I also appreciate the post processing, which gives the appearance or look of an old film camera.

Elephants are amazing animals and outwardly share emotion that's often relatable to us as it's similar to our own actions. The sibling's trunk covers one the mother's eyes and provides a look of irritation that contrasts with the young one's excitement. I wonder what's going through her mind when this was taken.
