The expressions and action you've captured in this image is really fabulous and the shallow depth of field ensures that the surrounding distractions don't draw you away from the main scene. The colour palette is natural and aesthetically pleasing and the composition is spot on.

This is a very handsome male and I love that despite it being in a zoo, the surroundings are still relatively natural. The centralised composition works well with him looking directly down the lens and you wouldn't know it was taken with a phone without checking the exif!

I really like the depth and perspective on this image with a shallow depth of field drawing us into the front seals whilst still giving us context of the surroundings. The warm, muted colour palette works really well and this could also work in black and white!

This is another fabulous image taken with a phone, showing the potential you can achieve without expensive equipment. It works really well in black and white to add to the mood of the overall image and the centralised composition is perfect.

This image works well in black and white and I like how the hyena is looking directly down the lens. The focus is crisp and sharp with every detail on the fur and face having fantastic texture. Be cautious when cloning or replacing backgrounds to avoid any artefacts.

This image is unexpected and unusual, but it's one of the reasons I love it! I would crop the top right corner out so you have a more consistent, white background but otherwise I love how the feet pop from the image.

Herdwicks are such photogenic breeds of sheep and I love how you've captured their curiosity in this image. The inclusion of the surrounding habitat works incredibly well with the image: it simply wouldn't be the same if just cropped into the sheep.

I really love the framing and colour on this image but always try to be cautious on any sky adjustments as the edges of trees can show signs of distortion or artefacts if pushed too far. The gate and chain works so well as a natural frame.

The eyes really draw you into the image and the clear connection of mother and young is inescapable. I love the defined edges and contrast within the image with great focus and depth. If this is cropped I'd strongly recommend bringing back the edge of the right leg of the mother.

I like the empty space in this image which the subjects are looking and moving into and it works well in black and white. If possible I'd increase the exposure slightly and I'd try to crop out the branch in the left but there's a risk it won't leave enough space between the duckling and the edge of the image.

The pastel tones and colours in this image are lovely and the shallow depth of field ensures that the crisp detail on the eyes and face pop from the overall image. I love the pose and the image works well with a square crop.

I love the crisp detail on this image in the eyes and face and it works really well in black and white. I can't tell whether it's the aspect ratio or that the image has been warped slightly but it feels a little squished vertically so I'd consider a different aspect ratio to make it feel more natural.

The timing of this image is really spot on and I love the shape the subjects and their reflections make in the image. If possible, I'd straighten the back horizon line clockwise slightly but I recognise this might not be possible without cutting part of the reflection off.

This image works well in black and white to enhance the details and contrast on the fur and rocks. If this isn't the original crop I'd try and give the bottom a bit more space so the foot isn't cropped off.

People will often opt for frame filling images with wildlife, but this is a great example of why small in the frame can be far more impactful. Frame filling would mean we'd have no context of the dramatic surroundings or the sheer scale here!
