I love the context you've captured in this image, especially with the shallow depth of field giving good separation whilst still giving us enough information and detail to appreciate. The eyes pop so well from the image and I love the subtle greens in the paint.

There's so much about this image that makes it captivating. I love how much we can ascertain from the background, yet it's still out of focus enough for the main subject to pop really well. It also acts as nice natural frame.

I LOVE this image for several reasons: the perspective is slightly unique, the footprint in the sand really add to the image and the shadow, paired with the edge of the water is just divine. I wouldn't change a thing!

The simplicity in this image is fabulous as it ensures there's no distracting elements to draw you away, and arguably adds to the relaxed feel of the image. I really like the colour palette with the red on the subject popping well.

Pigeons of all types are often overlooked in photography which is such a shame. I love how you've managed to separate this handsome wood pigeon from the background with a low key result and the iridescence and colour on the bill and neck really pops because of it.

I love the complimentary colour palette in this image with the yellows and greens working well together to enhance the image. The unique poses on each bird works really well, with the subject in the foreground almost framing the one behind.

I love how you've used the wintery surroundings to frame this handsome lynx and it really works well to draw you into the image. It works really well in colour but I think it would also work in black and white if you wanted to change it up.

The personality and character you've captured in this image is truly brilliant. I love the warm colour palette and the composition is fantastic, paired with a shallow depth of field ensuring the background doesn't distract us away from this comedic cat.

The light is gorgeous in this image and I like how it catches the scales and enhances the detail. I like that you've centralised the snake with the direct eye contact and the relative simplicity in the background helps to keep you engaged.

This owl has quite the expression of disapproval, in the best way possible! I like how the speckles of white in the plumage act a bit like a leading line to draw you to the face and the composition is unique.

What a fabulous image. There's often the temptation to fill the frame with our subjects and anything less than that isn't 'good' but you've shown here how small in the frame can be even more effective when it comes to engaging viewers and creating a unique image.

The high key, simplistic feel of this image really works well to draw you in and enhances the subtle colours on the feet and sand. I like the portrait orientation and the depth of field and shutter speed ensured that no elements are blurred as turnstones can be quite swift in their movements!

The warm hues in this image are fantastic and really work with the overall image. The shallow depth of field enhances the sharpness and details on the face by removing any potential distractions from the background. If this has a crop, try to bring the bottom of the paws back into the image.
