I love how well the subject pops from the image here against a relatively warm backdrop. The composition will have been tricky to decide on as including the full body leads to the body being very central, but there's little else you could do without cropping elements off.

Whilst the surroundings in this image may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, it still gives us good context to the surrounding areas and that light and colour from the sunset truly steals the show. The composition is good with the subject looking into the frame and the fencing creates a slight natural frame too.

The contrast between the greens and browns works really well and I love how the foliage is perfectly framing this gorgeous elephant. The centralised composition works well but I’d be tempted to see if I could shift the elephant ever so slightly to the left if it still works with the background.

I really love the light and colour you’ve captured on this image, especially that catch lighting in the eye which really draws you in. If this is a crop I’d strongly suggest giving the lioness just a bit more space on the edges as this is a very tight crop.

I love the low angle and perspective you’ve captured in this image and how the front paw is lifting with that piercing gaze from the lion. I’d consider levelling out the ground as if it were a horizon and in doing so, it should crop the tiny bit of sky peeping into the top left of the image.

I really love the moment of action you’ve captured here with the spray and fluffed feathers. There was little you could do to increase the separation from the background to make these details pop anymore since you were shooting wide open so a great result in tough conditions!

The framing on this image is utterly flawless and I love the pose you’ve captured this beautiful octopus in. The flash of colour on the outstretched arm is brilliant and the lighting is so well done, bringing out every fine detail.

The flash of orange on the fish works so well to draw you in and it goes to show that slightly contrasted colour in underwater photography can make all the difference to the impact. I love the composition and framing along with great exposure and lighting.

This will have been a tricky image when it comes to deciding on the composition: if you get the zebra to look into the frame you lose the context of the trees shape in the background but if you include them, you have to centralise the zebra. In the end I think you made the right choice and I love how much is going on in the background without it being distracting.

I love the goofy expression you’ve captured on these two characters and you chose well to centralise them as they have a small element of symmetry. If you were looking to mix it up, this image could work with a square crop too.

Pigeons are easily overlooked when it comes to wildlife photography but just look at those striking red eyes and beautiful iridescence on the feathers. Try to be mindful not to crop off elements of your subject like the feet here: it’s more advisable to either go for a closer crop or include the full subject.

This just goes to show how capable phones are becoming when it comes to taking great images. I was genuinely none the wiser until I saw it in the exif data and caption. The composition, whilst simple, works really well to create an aesthetically pleasing image.

The framing on this image adds so much more than you first realise and it helps to create a compelling image that keeps you engaged and exploring the many facets it has to offer. I love the lighting and how the focus is primarily on the piglet pointing straight towards the camera.
