You've captured such marvellous detail on the wings and body here and I like the subtly contrasted colour palette compared to the background. The composition is good with the flower bud leading us into the frame and the two subjects.

You've captured this image wonderfully, with such striking colours and gorgeous framing from both the subjects themselves along with their surroundings. The focus and depth of field are both good, with everything of importance in focus and good context of the surroundings.

I like the desaturated colour palette in this image, paired with the slightly more saturated eye colour. The composition is tight which works well, especially with the head centralised due to the eye contact and symmetry. This could also work in black and white!

What a gorgeous colour palette in this image, both with the background and the bee-eaters. The depth of field is brilliant and ensures that every minute detail on the feathers of these gorgeous subjects can be fully appreciated with no distractions.

You've got some fantastic, subtle golden light in this image and I love how it's catching the birds well with both heads turned. The composition is great, paired with the focus. I'd consider increasing the exposure ever so slightly to enhance the image further.

What a capture! There's so much going on in this image to appreciate and it goes to show that the subject doesn't matter when it comes to being able to capture a great image! I'd consider a very small crop to remove the lit object in the top right corner.

This image is so striking, looking like a set of intimidating eyes staring out from the darkness. The composition is so well chosen, along with great exposure and contrast, all knitting together to create a compelling and aesthetically pleasing image.

You've managed to achieve some great separation in this image both due to the shallow depth of field but also the contrast of colour. I'd consider slightly cropping in from the top right corner to get the subject to look into the frame a bit more.

The eye contact is so piercing in this image and I love how well you've captured the symmetry in the face. The eye colour is striking but I feel this is also a candidate for black and white due to the contrast.

I love the grumpy appearance of this gorgeous cat and you've captured so much detail in the fur and face that I can't stop exploring the image. The centralised composition was a good call and whilst it works in colour, it could also be a candidate for black and white.

This image has so much going for it! I love the expression you've captured and the image is so well focused and exposed that the eye contact is piercing and captivating. The colour palette is gorgeous with a great composition and perspective.

You've captured great asymmetry in this image and I like the slight sepia tone and grain which makes the image feel more like it's out of an old film camera. The detail is fabulous and the depth of field is spot on.

This image goes to show that in the right scenarios, phones are incredibly capable at taking brilliant images. You've captured brilliant context here, with the depth of field ensuring we can still see the surroundings without them being a distraction.

Common species can still make for compelling subjects in wildlife photography as you've shown here! Not only did you capture a hen mallard but also a rabbit in the background! Be cautious with specific exposure adjustments as this can lead to artefacts around the edges.
