I really love the cheeky nature of this composition and how well it works with the black background to draw you in. Whilst the back eye is ever so slightly out of focus, it doesn't at all detract away from the image and you did everything you could to combat this short of focus stacking.

This image works really well as a portrait and the separation from the background works well to give us some context. When possible, be conscious of the background as the church spire does draw your eye away which could've been fixed with a couple of steps to the right.

I love the almost shocked expression on this gorgeous kitten and the catchlight in the eye really draws you in and keeps you engaged. If this is a crop, try to bring the back of the kitten back into the frame and if not, I'd rotate it slightly clockwise to level out the floor.

This image works so well with the backlighting leaking through the wings, arguably even more so given the wings imperfect and damaged nature. The composition is spot on and despite the backlighting being tricky in harsh overhead light, you've still retained great colour in the rest of the image.

What a brilliant and engaging composition, and another great example of the capabilities of phone photography featuring in the top ten! This image works really well in colour but could also be a candidate for black and white if you wanted to change it up at all.

You achieved brilliant separation from the background in this image and I love the warm colour palette which punches out of the screen in the best way. The composition and portrait orientation works well and the focus is spot on.

This Red squirrel has an interesting taste in fashion... but it adds to the comedic impact of this image. The warm colour palette of the image is gorgeous and I like the composition with the squirrel looking into the frame.

What a cheeky character which translates into an engaging and brilliant image. It works well in colour although could work even better in black and white as besides from the eyes, the colour doesn't 'add' to the image or feel overall.

Another great example of how capable phones can be when it comes to photography. Often some of the compositional guidelines state that you should shoot eye level or shoot low but variety is the spice of life and shooting straight down has worked perfectly here!

The detail on this pelican is fantastic and pops so well against the dark water. If there;'s a crop on this image, try to give more space on the left of the image as well as bringing more of the reflection back.

Nuthatches are such beautiful birds but are known for being a bit of a pain when it comes to staying in one place long enough! I like the composition and the warm, subtle colours popping from the background. In the future, up your shutter speed more when working with small, flitty birds like this.

I like the detail you've captured on this gorgeous ladybird, giving us a perspective that we wouldn't usually see. It's difficult for me to say without seeing the full sized image but I'd consider a different, more standardised aspect ratio with the ladybird more to the right of the image.

What a lovely moment to capture and the red on the eye pops so well against an otherwise more desaturated image. The composition is good with asymmetry that works and the panoramic aspect ratio works well too. I'd consider giving a tiny bit more space on the left for the adult.
