This is a great example of how taking an image as a panoramic scene really works. On this occasion the photographer has cropped the scene to panoramic but it works equally as well. Cropping the blue sky really makes sense here, not only does it pull the viewer in closer to the interest but it loses what was probably an empty space which wasn't needed.
Another reason I am enjoying judging these competitions so much is being able to view images from all over the world. This beautiful image from Czechia really gives us an impression of how beautiful the country is. The rolling hills filled with beautiful forests looks like a paradise for a photographer. Congratulations on making the top 10.
This is a bridge I have seen in images a few times before but until now I was unfamiliar with its location. This is an extremely well taken image and one you should be proud of. The composition is well considered along with the focal length choice. If I was to offer some advice it would be to shoot this at a quieter time to avoid the crowds on the bridge, maybe a sunrise would be a good time.
Wow, what a stunning black and white image! This is just a great example of when the conditions fall perfectly for a monochrome image. Soft back lighting, low cloud and rising mist, this must have been something to witness. Some people might question why this has been converted to mono, but for me the conversion has only helped to create such a striking scene.
