This is a pretty cool image, It's different from anything else entered and it looks great. If I may offer a small critique, when shooting water you need a level horizon. It really makes a difference to the overall look of the photo. I'd maybe have cropped ever so slightly to cut out that bit of land poking in from the bottom too. It would give more of a sense of isolation!

Beautiful colours, and a nice composition too. I admire that you clambered around to find a viewpoint where there wasn't one readily available, It makes the difference between a good shot and a mediocre one! It looks a lovely place to explore!

I like the unusual angle on this, it really emphasises the size of the roots. The black and white conversion works well too, as there are some great textures throughout. I would maybe have burned the bottom right a little just to darken the corner, but that's just personal preference, it's still really nice!

A great feel-good image. Daffodils are one of my favourite flowers, they just scream that spring is here and warmer times are coming! A small critique, The horizon level is ever so slightly off-balance, I think a tiny bit of counter clockwise rotation improves the overall look greatly. Nice job!

Layers for days!!! I love images like this, really simple but oh so effective. Nice colours too. If I could offer some critique, I'd maybe have omitted the cloud top left. I think it works better as a 4x3 crop losing some off the top!

A really beautiful image,.The snow-capped peaks reflected in the still loch look wonderful. good job controlling the dynamic range too, it's a challenge to balance super bright spots on the snow with dark shadows on the rocks but this looks great. Well done.

This is sublime, the inversion spilling into the valley works super well. I like the composition, the light trails heading into the mist are a nice touch. There's a bit of a halo on your high contrast edges so be careful lifting shadows when processing, overall it's a really nice photo!

Seascapes are not easy to get right, but this one is fantastic. That sliver of light breaking up the heavy cloud is sublime, and the water movement is perfect. You've done a great job of keeping the texture in the water while giving a sense of movement and power in the waves. I really like this image, well done!

This is a really beautiful image and an angle on the Storr that isn't usually seen! I'm guessing it's from around the top of the Brides Veil waterfall, or thereabouts. The colours are lovely, the composition is good and it's got loads of interesting components. Well done and a worthy number 1!

A really nice photo, composed well and it's got lovely colours. I like the long exposure, I'm a big fan of waterfalls shot this way. Maybe something to try when processing this style of photo, have a look on the internet at the Orton effect. It gives a really magical look and softens the foliage and rocks!

From a strictly technical point of view, this shouldn't work as the tree is cut in half and it's got a central horizon but sometimes you have to ignore the rules and just shoot what looks right. This is a lovely photo, it's got a real feel-good factor and makes you want to be there! Good job

I'm not sure what's been done in processing here but I think with some more careful treatment you could have a really nice image. Compositionally it looks good but the painterly look and false shallow depth of field really detract.

I really like this, the colours are maybe a tad strong but it's a nice image to look at. A small point, had you left the little bit of land out in the bottom right I think the image would have been really unbalanced, but by including it you've broken up the mass of blue and it looks better for it. The waves look awesome too!
