The atmospheric is the part of this image that works really well. You've done well to capture the drama of the weather that's making it's way over the bridge, and the bridge itself is acting as a point of interest within the composition due to the vertical and diagonal line inherent within it's structure. Some of the highlights are blown but that doesn't detract too much from the scene. I'd have been inclined to have got a little closer to the bridge and avoid having the darker, distracting foliage in the foreground. Overall, a really sense of atmosphere that pulls you into the image.

There's lots to like about this scene, from the dramatic sky to the pastoral foreground, all of which his tied together by the path that leads towards the farmhouse. The classic 50mm is not seen as a landscape lens these days, but I think it's great for getting into a scene and picking out vignettes in wider scene. You've controlled the exposure well, especially with that dramatic cloud and colour, and the overall colour palette is pleasing. It might have worked to have shot the scene in portrait to have included more of that path/crops as a leading line to the farmhouse and the sky above. Overall, a pleasing landscape image that deserves to be in the top 10.

The allure of a lone tree is a powerful one to us landscape photographers, and it can be difficult to capture something that stands out. The creative decisions you've taken regarding this shot certainly made it stand out to me. The mist behind the tree helps define it from an otherwise messy background, and the positioning in the centre of the frame breaks the rule of thirds but adds something different. The monochrome processing further simplifies the scene, but for me it's a the birds flying low towards the left that adds that special something to the scene. There are some dust spots visible that could be removed in post and this would elevate the image.

You've captured a stunning sunrise in this image that evokes both a senes of calm and drama. There is a sense of balance to the image that is helped by framing the house on the right and the clump of trees on the left, with the hint of the lighthouse in the distance. The road that leads from left to right helps lead the eye from the from the front to the back of the image and the light on the hills in the distance is just lovely. It might have added something to have had the road leading from the bottom left corner and including less of the sky so the horizon isn't so central, but otherwise this is an enjoyable image with a lovely back story.

I really enjoyed the composition of this image, apart from the distracting piece of foliage that intersects the scene. Although I can see what you're trying to do, in the end it doesn't add anything to the composition and distracts from the lovely image that exists beyond it. I like that you've taken the image from a low angle and the few people in the distance really add to the sense of place and scale, leading into the rocks beyond and the dreamy blue sky. Sometimes the best compositions don't need to be overcomplicated and I see much potential here.

This is a quintessentially 'epic' landscape image that has all the ingredients needed to pull the viewer in. You've done well to manage the exposure shooting directly into the sun, and the framing works to pull the eye from the snowy hillside in the foreground towards the light and distant landscape further into the image. There is a distinct wintery feel to the scene that is permeated by the weak, warm sunlight. I can almost feel the chill in the air. Nicely captured and edited.

This is a lovely juxtaposition between the natural world in the foreground and the cityscape beyond, all tied together by a dramatic sky. You clearly have an understanding of how to compose an image, with the swoop of the shoreline leading the eye into the bridge and buildings beyond. The wet rocks in the foreground are sharp and contrast to the vertical matt textures of the city buildings. A pleasing image that demonstrates much potential.

This is a delightful urban landscape that demonstrates a competent knowledge of composition. The 1:1 framing works to position the buildings in the middle of the frame and the one orange building permeating through the sea of blue adds a much apprecaited point of interest. The colours work well together, although I'd be tempted to back off the blues a little to even out the scene.

There's a powerful atmosphere to this image that has been enhanced by the processing. The plethora of wind turbines work together as a collective, and the dramatic sky gives a feeling of a Sci-Fi novel. The addition of the mountain in the background makes it feel like this photo could have been taken on a different world entirely. I'd have been inclined to crop out the turbine on the far left as it somewhat distracts from the overall composition, but that aside this is an evocative image that draws the viewer into the scene.

In my opinion it can be much harder to working in black and white as it pairs the image down to it's basic elements. In this image the decision pays off, especially because of the light that is hitting the lighthouse and the balance of shadow and highlight in the tumultuous weather above. It can also be difficult to compose for 1:1, but the tight framing here adds to the drama, especially with the darker cloud looming amongst the brighter highlights on the top left. I'd have been inclined to have cropped in a little closer for more dramatic effect, but that aside, this is an image that demands attention.

There's lots going on in this image, but the entire scene is dominated by that tree that immediately becomes the focal point. The strong situational light helps to elevate the foreground, and the inclusion of the people adds a sense of scale that might otherwise be lost. The clouds mimic the windswept trees which helps to balance the image and the reflection in the water elevates the composition. Looking at the image, there are several different crops that jump out that would include all the main elements in an even more pleasing composition, including positioning the tree on the right hand side. An interesting image that demands the viewer look deeply into all the elements.

There's a wonderful simplicity to this image that stood out to me straight away. Often, as photographers, we ponder on what we should include in the frame, but there is real power in what we exclude and this is a perfect example of that. You've used the layers in the landscape masterfully, utilising that line of trees as a break between the bleak sky and the snowy foreground. The small tree in the midst of the others adds an extra bit of charm to the scene. Although it's minimalist, it's an image I could easily get lost it. Well seen and captured.

Sometimes having a human element in an image can make a landscape more interesting and this is one of those instances. There is a dreamy feel to the scene that is enhanced by the surfer with their board, staring out into the water. The patterns in the sand help lead in the eye to the surfer and the light is warm and inviting. The one criticism I would have of this is that the large expanse of sky is blown out and doesn't add too much to the image, all of which could be rectified with a crop. That aside, this image does a great job of conveying emotion.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in this image, especially the hint of the snowy peak on the far left of the image just appearing from the low cloud. Although there is snow all the way down the mountain there is also some notion of the landscape underneath which adds a sense of texture to the composition. The road that leads to the top helps draw in the eye, and the campervans in the carpark add to the sense of scale. I'd have been tempted to crop out the roof and post visible in the bottom right and some of the sky that's adding nothing else to the image. Lovely clean scene that deserves a place in the top 10.

It's hard to resist the beautiful azure blues of the coastal waters in this image, standing in juxtaposition with the brickwork of the engine house in the foreground. It's a classic, evocative scene for good reason. The angle and framing here doesn't necessarily do justice to the scene and it image would have benefit if you'd gone for a wider composition so everything in the frame was given the room to breathe. Still, I love the contrast you've captured here.
