When it rains and the light still finds a way through, the atmosphere that is created is hard to rival. Those conditions are some of my favourite ones to photograph because the light changes constantly. You've done a grand job of capturing just how compelling that light and those conditions can be in this image with the rain moving over the sea, and the light illuminating the water and the land mass beyond. The two gulls add a sense of scale to proceedings. Nicely seen and captured.

There is something bright, bold and lovely about this particular image. Perhaps because I haven't really seen many images of it during the summer months. The image is all about those colours and how they co-exist, from the bright greens and yellows, to the deep blues and the grey of the mountains. I like that you've included some of the water, reflecting the clarity of the sky, however I would lean towards a more panoramic crop to avoid the mountain range getting lost in the middle of the composition.

I like what you've done with this image with regards to composition. The rocks in the water on the right lead the eye into the mountainscape and forest beyond. There's a rather blue colour cast that consumes the image, something that could be corrected in post and a tighter crop eliminating some of the unnecessary space on the left would improve the composition further.

There's something about the sheer simplicity of this image that really appealed to me. This one lone tree existing in what seems to be a rather hostile landscape, the land beneath scorched by the sun, creating warm tones that work with the blue sky above. At first I was a little annoyed by the vehicle, but I quickly decided I like the way it creates a sense of scale. The use of negative space here is also very pleasing. Compelling image!

There is a surreal quality to this image that made me want to stop and explore it further. The colour palette reminds me of a Pixar movie, with the multicoloured stones of the lighthouse against the blue sky, mirrored in the water. I'm fascinated by the rudimentary feel to the lighthouse element. It's a shame you weren't able to capture the whole reflection and there is some distortion of the image quality, but that aside, it's a very interesting subject.

Some landscape images are all about nature and others are about the co-existence of us as humans, interacting with nature. This is definitely one that falls into the latter category. The line of camels set against that setting sun is evocative and it could easily have been a scene from history, providing a sense of timelessness to the scene. I like that you've chosen to create a silhouettes, placing emphasis on the colours in the sky. It adds to the sense of drama and grandeur. .

This is a quintessential refection shot that does what it sets out to do -- capture a compelling reflection of the mountains. The colours in the image complement each other quite well, with the blues of the sky working well with the greens/yellow of the hillside. The reflection is a little interrupted by the foreground so we don't get to see the full reflection, which is a shame.

This is a dramatic scene that you've captured, pulling in the eye to the various compositional parts. The waves lapping the shoreline act as a leading line up to the mountain itself, with that black sand adding to the drama. The cloudscape above the mountain almost gives the impression of a long exposure, which works well. The side light is really nice, providing a warm glow to the scene. The only niggle is that the mountain is floating in the middle of the image, and composing with less sky but more foreground may well have made the image even more impactful.

I absolutely love the atmosphere you've captured in this particular image. Some images are about the technical challenges and some images are much more about emotion and how the scene conveys that. This is very much the latter. You've managed to encompass the sense of place and scale into the composition, with that low cloud drifting through the middle, illuminated by the light. The dark processing aids the atmosphere further. I'd be inclined to crop out the dark foreground as it adds little to the overall image and ends up being a little distracting.

This is a well crafted seascape that demonstrates an understanding of all the elements needed to create a compelling and intriguing composition. The cliff acts as a leading line into the image, pointing the eye to the water and rocks beyond. The colour in the sea is complemented by the clouds and there's just a hint of low light adding to the atmosphere. Nicely seen and captured.

This is a really nicely done long exposure using the classic trope of a waterfall as the main subject matter. The long exposure technique works well in this case as it adds a sense of movement to an otherwise static scene. I like that you've captured the waterfalls on the right hand side, but kept the left for a hint of that gorgeous autumn colour in the form of fallen foliage. This adds something else to the composition and works well.

The light that you've captured in this shot is absolutely lovely, flooding the mountains and hills with warm tones, and picking out various different elements of the composition. However, the framing leaves a little to be desired. I would consider cropping out the sun on the left side as it steals all the attention from the rest of the scene and is very distracting. I also think that the whole composition is a little wonky, something that could be corrected in post. That aside, you've captured some truly divine light.

I absolutely love the simplicity and minimalism of this image. The positioning of the field and the house to the extreme bottom of the image leaves acres of room for the sky and the clouds moving through. The colours in each section of the image work well and I could image this being used as some album artwork. I would be interested to see how a square 1:1 crop would make the image look as it would concentrate the eye a little more. Really nice work.
