Sunlight and storms always make for a good contrast in a photo, It's a shame you didn't catch the light on the trees as this would have looked epic but it's still a nice photo. I like the layers created by the fields and the band of angry grey sky at the top looks good :)

This was a pretty easy choice for number one, It's a simple shot but has loads of atmosphere and a great feeling to it. I like the soft lighting and the layers in the misty trees look great. My dad lives in North Yorkshire so it's always nice to see shots from the local area.

A really good effort, it's a bit overexposed as the water is very bright. Do you have any ND filters? Something like a 3 or 4 stop solid ND would allow you to get the water movement without it being overexposed. I like your composition, the waterfall is placed well and the trees above have some lovely colour in them :)

Awesome reflections, I really really love images like this. Compositionally it's nice, I like the inclusion of the reeds in the lower right corner. One thing to note with reflection shots, the sky is never darker than the reflections. You need the sky to be a stop brighter than the foreground for it to look natural.

What a beautiful sunset, you've been really lucky to catch this :) I'd maybe crop the top 3rd off as there's a big expanse of blu that doesn't really add to the photo but takes the eyes away from that gorgeous light catching the clouds. The crepuscular rays from the sun look fantastic as well!

I really like this, the almost tunnel-like effect caused by the overhanging trees is always good to look at and creates a natural frame. The colours are nice too, maybe a tad flat I'd be tempted to boost the saturation a little.

This is a truly beautiful photo, I love autumn it's a magical time of year. Nice job with the processing, reducing the greens and boosting the oranges has really given the image that extra edge. The vignette works well too keeping your eyes looking down the path.

This location's been on my to-do list for ages, I'm sure I'll get there soon enough to see it for myself. In the meantime, I'll have to make do with nice photos of it like this one. It's not that often we see photos with good weather! I'd have maybe cropped a little of the sky off just to balance the composition a wee bit.

What a fantastic landscape, and a gorgeous day to photograph it too. I love the way the shadows from the clouds are scattered around, it created a dynamism that you just don't get with a clear blue sky. I'd maybe warm the white balance up a tiny bit.

This is a really pretty image, the square crop works well and there's plenty to keep my eyes occupied. I tried a shot like this in the lakes last May but the sky was dreadful so it never saw the light of day, your shot is basically what I was going for! It's exposed well and the composition is really pleasing. Great shot.

This is a lovely scene, the colours are fantastic and the river winding through leads the eyes through the picture nicely. There's just enough cloud cover to give the sky some interest and the sun hitting the trees gives the whole image a boost. Great job

You've done a great job of controlling the highlights in a challenging scene. The water movement is perfect, there's still enough texture to show the power in the waterfall but not so much that it turns it into a white blob. I like the composition too, it looks spot on.

I really really like this, autumn is the best time of year for bright colourful shots and this one's a great example. The long shadows work beautifully against the light on the fallen leaves and the backlit trees are lit up wonderfully.

What a great view, alpine towns definitely have a special feel to them being surrounded by mountains. The colours are a tad strong, I'd look to desaturate the yellows and blues a bit to give it a more natural look. Nice composition though, and an awesome view to take home with you.
