There is plenty to enjoy in this image, from the fiery sky reflecting into the still water beneath, to the faint outline of the mountains beyond. There's a romanticism to the warm colours and silhouettes, but the real star of the show is the figure in the bottom right. They provide scale and interest, elevating the image. I would have liked them to have a bit more of the frame for better impact. The only other criticism is that the horizon is a little wonky, which could be easily corrected in post. Otherwise, an evocative and emotive image.
This image is all about autumn colours. So many times when photographers go into woodland, they become overwhelmed because there is so much going on in front of them. My advice is often to exclude the sky and focus on the smaller vignettes. This is a good example of this, with the unmistakeable relationship between that white bark of the silver birch and the warm tones of the foliage. I like the red colours in the background, providing some separation. Nicely done.
This is a lovely autumnal scene that has a really nice contrast in the warm tones of the autumn foliage against the cooler tones of the sky and mountains. The sweep of the foreground works to lead the eye into the heart of the image. You use the light to bring out those colours and overall it's a pleasing image.
As long exposures go you've demonstrated clear ability. The composition of this works well, with the boardwalk moving through the heart of the frame, disappearing towards the horizon. The light grey works well with the greens of those marshes and the blue of the sky. The sky in the image is rather surreal which is a side-effect of such fast moving clouds and the long exposure. It's not to everyone's taste but it certain pulls one into the image.
There is something enduring about the notion of the 'lone tree' and as photographers, we find them hard to resist. This one on the edge of a cliff has a particular appeal, especially as the light is illuminating it against that darkness behind. The tree itself is rather over exposed and this could be rectified with some adjustments to the highlights in post.
I love the layers in this image and how the front of the composition suggests it's summer and the background has a distinctly wintery feel. You've used the compressed depth of feel to good effect, with the foreground foliage blurred out, framing the structure which adds some welcomed scale. The grandeur of Annapurna beyond is undeniable and this elevates the whole composition.
This is a classic landscape image that shows why sunrise has an enduring lure for any landscape photographer worth their salt. The hazy layers of the mist floating across the mountainous terrain is endearing and nicely captured. You've controlled the exposure of the image well, as shooting directly into the sun can be tricky. The mist is helping to hold back that sun and the effect adds to the atmosphere. Nicely done.
I absolutely love the mood in this image. Those imposing, storm-like clouds are really the heart of composition, catching the light. Although you say it was taken on a November day it has more of a summer feel of it. The reflection in the river is lovely, and the contrast between the blue and green colours works well. There's a little patch of blown highlights at the top but it doesn't detract from the overall impact.
This is one of those images where the deeper you look into the frame, the more you discover. It was a joy to follow the line of the pier up to find some silhouetted figures at the end of it, providing some much needed sense of scale. I like how you've composed so that the pier doesn't penetrate the horizon The colour in the sky is fiery and vibrant, and the broken reflection in the sea is rather satisfying. I'm not convinced that the dark reeds in the foreground adds anything to the image and a tighter crop could work better.
This is a rather serene scene that has some lovely contrasting colours and textures. I like the roughness of those rocks with the smoothness of that azure water. The hint of the sunset happening adds some light and energy to the composition, and the people on the rocks add some scale. The colours are a little over saturated for my taste, but such things are often personal preference. Nicely seen and composed image.
This is such a nicely seen, composed and captured image. It is evocative of far away beaches and can take you right out of a cold November afternoon. The image is made by the palm leaves framing the vague hint of the tropical island in the background, with those azure seas banding right through the centre of the composition. The ripples in the foreground adds a little bit extra. The colours throughout, from the yellows to the blues and the greens, work well together and the processing is spot on. Really lovely work.

This image is a tale of two halves. The foreground is illuminated by some delicious light capturing the warm tones of the rock and the greens of the trees. Behind is some lovely rock formations and rolling hills in darkness. I can't help but feel that some light on those magical rock formations would have elevated the composition. Still, there's plenty to like, from the textures to the clouds.
You've captured some lovely atmosphere in this image. It's evocative of a summer morning when the light breaks through and illuminates everything. You've done well to control the bright highlight of the sun by hiding it behind the tree. There's a little too much negative space on the left of the image that really doesn't add too much to the composition and a tighter crop could help rectify that.

There's something about this image, it has an ethereal and mysterious feel to it. The atmosphere is helped by the faint purple glow and the pylons stacking backwards into the distance. This gives a 3D feel to a 2D image. The crop is a little off-putting with the nearest pylon chopped out of the frame, but otherwise, this image has plenty of personality.
I debated whether to keep this image in the commended section because it's a rather unusual take on landscape photography, but ultimately in it's basic form, it's an image of an urban landscape so I felt it had a place. Deliberations aside, I rather love the inventive creativity of this image. I think too much is made of what is and what isn't landscape photography, and frankly from my perspective it's refreshing to see such a different take on a skyline image.
