It wasn't a hard choice to choose this as number one, it's a fantastic shot. It's got everything, mood, atmosphere, great reflections and an awesome stormy sky. Kudos for sticking it out in the car and waiting for a break in the weather, it's really paid off. Well done :)

Great colours, I think without the leaves in this it could dare say be a little boring but that carpet of autumn colour breaks up the sea of green and makes it really beautiful. The barn is fantastic, I love the patina and old corrugated roofs.

This is a great shot, I love the composition and the inclusion of the overhanging trees. The water is maybe a little blue so I'd be tempted to reduce the saturation in the blue tones but that's just a minor point really. Overall it's a lovely photo.

I'm torn with this image, I really like the composition and the warm light is nice, I just think it's a tad dark overall. There's a halo along the high contrast edges too. Having said that, it looks like a great morning and it's by no means a bad image. Maybe look at lightening the shadows just a little?

I like this for the simple fact that it's difficult to see anything man-made. It's just field after field after field. I'd maybe have cropped some of the sky off as there's a lot of open space there, It wouldn't take anything away from the overall image to lose a bit of it. Also, congratulations and I hope you guys had a nice honeymoon!

Shooting centre jour (straight into the sun) isn't usually a success but using a tree or something to break up the intense sun works a treat. I love the backlighting here showing off the colours in the leaves. There's a bit of a halo around the tree outline but as this was shot on a phone there's not really much you can do to change it!!

Awesome job balancing the scene with the ND grad, so many people fail with them and over grad the sky terribly. This is a really nice photo, great composition, pretty much perfect exposure and a great subject. Snowdonia is a beautiful area and you've definitely done it justice.

Lovely autumn colours! I'm a fan of this kind of shot, I'm regularly found crouching down to get similar views! I'd maybe have tried to shoot it so it was symmetrical but that doesn't really take much away from this, it's a really pretty photo.

Sunset is the best time of day, the colours can be absolutely stunning. I really like the view down the river to the church, and the mountains in the background help to frame it nicely. You've got a great local view to shoot here, I'm jealous. I had a quick look on google maps and it looks like a lovely place.

This is a lovely scene. I love snow, it simplifies scenes. The sky is great too, with loads of interesting clouds. It might be a small detail but I like that the snow is undisturbed, it makes a massive difference to the way an image turns out.

I'm generally not a fan of cityscapes, but I really like this one. It's framed well and it's nice and sharp. Good colours and it's got a lot to keep your eyes occupied. It looks good with the wet street, I think had it been dry it wouldn't have the same impact.

Black and white images are difficult to get right, too contrasty and they just look harsh but if you go the other way they just look flat and lifeless. I think you've got a pretty good balance here, there's plenty of range in the tones. There's a slight halo along the ridgeline, maybe look at lightening the sky a tad to remedy this. Nice composition too.

I really like this, I'm not usually a fan of "busy" woodland scenes but this one's really nice. It's got a kind of order to the chaos, and it doesn't feel cluttered. The colours are pleasing and it's composed well. Great job.

This is a view I'm pretty familiar with as we go as a family to the lakes a lot and quite often we hire a boat to potter about Ullswater. I love that flash of sunlight smack bang in the centre, it lights up and shows off an otherwise 'dull' hillside. Lovely sky too, looks like you got some nice weather for your day out!

Low mist is always super sweet to look at and photograph, I like the way it's almost cut the image in half here. The sky has just enough clouds to break up the expanse of blue and the dew in the foreground keeps the in shade grass interesting. There's a bit of an optical illusion going on here as it appears the image is leaning to the right because of the angle you've shot the house at but the verticals are right so it is just an illusion!
