Classic image of a classic scene. The Fairy Pools really do have some magic to them and this comes through in this image. You've managed to capture a little of that turquoise colours in the water which balances out the moody sky. The long exposure adds some movement to the image and elevates the composition. Nice rendition of a familiar scene.
Nice attempt to recreate a classic composition of El Cap. Each side of the image has a nice balance, with the tree covered slopes on the left balanced out by the woodland and waterfall on the right. Although I've seen this seen in dramatic light, I rather like the even, flatter tone in this rendition, as it elevates the snow capped peaks and grey rock faces. Good effort.
There's a simplicity to this image that ends up being it's greatest appeal. There is a gorgeous gradient in the sky that goes from that pale pastel, almost white, down to the pink and oranges closer to the horizon. This is complimented by the blues of the cliffs and the sea. You've captured the real mood of the sunrise, and the thing that tops it off for me is the hint of two waves in the foreground. Classy image. Nicely done.
I like the composition of this image. The portrait orientation gives priority to those stacks in the foreground, framed by the turquoise sea beyond. The colour of the water compliments with the foliage on the rocks. You've done well to keep the stacks below the horizon. The flat lights keeps all the tones even and overall this is a pleasing image to look at.
Astrophotography is such a difficult discipline to get results from. It involves multiple things going right, capturing various images and potentially compositing them. Turning up somewhere and composing in the dark is also a challenge. This is what makes decent astro image that little bit more special. I really like that the Milky Way is emitting from the centre of the image, and the eye is led in by the crops in the field arriving at the tree. The dark blue of the night sky contrasts with those warm tones of the wheat and all in all this is a pleasing, well crafted image.

There are some lovely colours in this image and I like the telephoto composition. The yellow colour of the trees works well with the blue water and there's a whole lot of atmosphere in those clouds. There's a slight degradation of the image that gives it a smudgy feel which may have come from overly cropping, but otherwise this is a lovely autumnal scene.
This is a stunning and powerful monochrome image that uses the layers in the landscape to create a compelling composition. I like the grasses in the foreground catching the light and the general dramatic tonality throughout. The white snow on the top of the peak really adds something extra to the scene, as does the moody sky. Nicely stylised image.
Although the composition in this image isn't perfect, there is something about the light that gives it a really special quality. That morning light flooding the landscape provides real atmosphere, with the layers of the hillsides tracking back to the mountain peaks beyond. I like that the light is catching the autumn colours in the trees and the hint of haze and mist. In terms of the crop, the house and tree on the far left is rather distracting, so if you have more of the image than appears in this version it might be worth playing around with the crop to see if you can find a ratio that is a little more pleasing.
Meet the expert judge
The first time I saw this image, it pulled my attention in. The classic trope of the 'lone tree' is prevalent in landscape photography for good reason and this is a marvellous example of why. You've used the rule of thirds to position the tree on the right hand side of the image with the diagonal line of the sand acting as a lovely lead in. The faint pastel colours in the sky compliment the warmth of the dunes and overall this is lovely image.

This is an impactful monochrome image that has lots of interesting compositional elements. I like the contrast between the bright sun peaking above the hillside and the dark hillside on the right. The deep shadows are accented by the white lines of the road and the snow on the peaks beyond. It's a shame the curve of the bend in the road has been cut off because that would have just elevated the composition a little bit more.
