I really like this! The colours in the sky work so nicely against the cool tones in the snow, and the cloud inversion is the icing on the cake. If I was to be really picky it could do with being a little sharper but I'm still going to give you the number one slot as the image overall is just beautiful. Well done :)

Welcome to Photocrowd’s ‘Landscapes’ contest for New Joiners! These contests are a chance for new members to introduce their photography to the community, and get a taste of how Photocrowd contests work. A classic view, well worthy of a top 10 spot! I love the black and white conversion too, it looks great. There's a tiny bit of halo on the high contrast edges so it might be worth a little dodge and burn along those edges but aside from that I really really like this :D

Great colours, lovely composition, and some really beautiful conditions! This is a lovely shot, keep an eye on your horizon though as the water needs to be level and this tilts to the right a tad. It's not a big change that's needed but it'll make all the difference :)
