A nice enough shot, it could be improved a little by altering your position if you are able. When you've got a couple of focal points it's best to try and separate them so they aren't fighting for attention. I think the tree being in the bottom left would have framed it a little better as you've some empty space bottom left. Still, it's got nice colours and it's not a bad shot!
I'm not generally a fan of cityscapes but this looks really really good, I love the colour tones and composition. I like the broken reflections too, I think it actually looks better than if the reflection was perfectly smooth. I'd maybe have been tempted to crop it slightly to remove the far left building as it'd balance the image up a bit!

Welcome to Photocrowd’s ‘Landscapes’ contest for New Joiners! These contests are a chance for new members to introduce their photography to the community, and get a taste of how Photocrowd contests work. They can be entered by anyone within their first 28 days of joining Photocrowd. After 100 images have been submitted the contest closes and the Crowd will start rating the images. The Expert Judge will also be judging the images and writing reviews at the same time. All the winners, both Crowd and Expert, will be announced after 3 days of judging. Make sure you also check out our two other New Joiners contests - ‘People’ and ‘Animals’.

This looks great, the stormy sky contrasts well with the city skyline and the black and white conversion works well. There's a small post bottom right which is a bit distracting, I'd maybe have cloned it out although the vignette does hide it somewhat. I originally had this as commended but looking again it definitely deserves to be top 10.
