An enjoyable cityscape that demonstrates that urban landscapes can be just as powerful and impactful as rural scenes. Your use of a long lens has compressed the depth of field giving the image an almost 2D feel. The high-rise buildings are penetrating the sky, framed by the big cumulous clouds drifting along behind. There are complimentary colours in the buildings and the sky which works well. there are a few dust spots that have escaped your attention and removing them in post would ensure the image is even more impactful. Thanks for sharing.
This is a delightful little square of photography. I love the two trees and their relationship to each other, one with autumnal colours and one still hanging on to that late-summer foliage, connected by the fallen trunk on the ground. The river makes for a nice backdrop and the tight framing ensures that the viewer concentrates all their attention on the trees rather than being distracted by the sky or other elements.
An impressive image with lots of atmosphere and mood. I like the portrait orientation which gives room to the snowy foreground as well as the colours of sunrise. Your composition works well to highlight the prowess of the mountain, and that stream of cloud rising from the peak does indeed give the impression of a volcano about to implode. The processing works well, with nothing overcooked and all in this is a well seen and crafted landscape photograph.

A powerful monochrome image that works in the 1:1 ratio that you've chosen for the composition. I like the tonal difference between the tree branches in the foreground and the darker granite colour of the rocks that surround them. This is balanced by the mountains across the water, and the texture of the clouds in the sky above. The only thing that pulls me out of the frame is the twig on the left that is touching the edge of the frame. I wonder if cropping that out would make for a more balanced composition. That aside there is plenty to enjoy here.
This is a rather dramatic seascape that has plenty in the frame to enjoy. The jagged rocks of the foreground lead the eye through the scene to the tumultuous waves crashing on the shoreline. This is all framed by the sunrise colours illuminating the clouds above, reflecting in the pools of the water left by the tide and providing mood to the frame. The photo is a little noisy as a bi-product of your post-processing and might benefit from some 'noise reduction' in post. That aside, this is a powerful image.
There is a lovely quality to the light in this image. I'm not sure what time of day you took this photo but there is certainly some golden light covering that landscape. It has a clarity to it that speaks to a morning shoot, but I could be mistaken. I like the cacti in the foreground and their relationship to the rock formations in the distance. The left hand side of the frame unbalances proceedings a little and I'd be interested to see what a square crop looks like, concentrating on that right side of the frame that contains all the interesting elements. That aside, there is a lovely feel to this scene.
I like what you're trying to do with this image. The silhouette of the tree works well against that low sun hovering above the horizon. The dark shape of the tree works well again the warm tones of the sky. It's a shame the top of the tree touches the top of the frame as it makes the image feel a little claustrophobic.

Heck, this is quite the sunset, and even more impressive seeing as you captured it on your iPhone. I think anyone who got these results with their DSLR would be happy, so it demonstrates once again that the best camera is the one you have on you. The framing helps, with a panoramic feel, the foreground jutting out into the shoreline and headland above. What really works though, is that dramatic sky, full of colour. The processing is good, especially for a mobile image, and overall this is an impressive scene. Thank you for sharing.
Who can resist a rainbow? Not me. They are wonderful for a reason and can completely elevate any photo in which they are included. I like the we just get the hint of one here, rising up into that rain cloud, mirrored by the faint outline of it's twin on the other side of the frame. I like that you've framed the house between the two rainbows. A nice, dramatic moment well seen and captured.
I absolutely love the mood of this image. The fog and cloud has taken non the colour of the evening light, creating a kind of dream world. The abstract mirage of colour and ripples on the water is interrupted by the bird, frozen in time as it takes off from the water. I like the gradation of colour from the warmer tones are the top of the frame to the cooler ones below. It would have been an interesting frame without the bird, but that adds just a little bit of interest. I'd be interested to see what it looks like as a square/8x10 crop eliminating the disturbed water on the left which pulls the eye out of the frame somewhat. Thank you for sharing.
This rather atmospheric, moody woodland scene works really well. I like your framing where you've consciously decided to included only the trees and not the washed out sky above. This ensures our attention remains fixed on the woodland, marching backwards into the hint of fog penetrating through the canopy. The understated processing really helps here, giving the the whole scene a moody and foreboding feel. Nice work!
Gosh, this image shows off the power of the exploding volcano! Images like this are really difficult to manage because of the heat given off by the lava that causes blown out highlights rather easily. You've managed to just about avoid that here, and balance the tones between the highlights and the shadows. It really demonstrates how dramatic it must have been to witness!
This is the tale of two halves. On the bottom half of the image there are sun soaked summer trees, with a hint of autumn in their foliage and behind there is an almighty storm. I cannot be 100% sure, but it may be a composite because of the line between the trees and the sky, and if so it would have been prudent to have said so in the description. That aside, your imagination has concocted an epic scene, with that flash of lightning on the right side really adding some power to the scene. In fact, the whole weather system is impressive and would have made an interesting image without the trees. Thanks for sharing.
A simple rural image that is full of atmosphere, elevating the scene and giving it something special. I like the panoramic framing and the light breaking through from the top left, covering the whole landscape with light. Your composition works well, with the house on the left balancing out the river and landscape beyond on the right. I can imagine it was rather lovely to witness in person.
This is a beautiful image that could quite easy have placed higher in the top ten, if not won the entire round, if it wasn't such a low-res upload. A lot of the detail as been lost which is a shame. That aside, I wanted to put it in because it's a beautiful scene that has been well composed and tastefully edited (as far as I can tell). One of those images that makes me want to visit Tuscany.
