An imposing landscape that speaks to the power and grandeur of the Icelandic landscape. The lush greens of the mountainside look damp and inviting below that overcast sky. The landscape appears to stretch out as far as the eye can see and the group of people making their way up the hillside ensure we understand the scale of the landscape.

This is a good effort at capturing some 'swooshery' in the outgoing tide. I love images that use this technique as it adds movement and narrative to the scene. The colours in the image work well, from the pinks and purples above to the blues in the water below. The rock in the middle of the image is a good focal point, although I think the horizon is a little wonky, something that could be adjusted in post-production. It looks like there are quite a few dust spots visible. These could also be removed in post-production and it would ensure the image is even more impactful.

I like the scene you've captured here showing the Alps in summer where there is barely any trace of snow. The strong lighting makes the green of the mountainside pop, and the jagged ridges of the summits stack backwards throughout the frame. The fluffy cumulous clouds drift through the sky, adding some texture and interest and the blues contrast well with the greens of the landscape below. The small lake in the foreground helps to improve the image further and all in, this must have been a lovely view to behold at the time.

The more I see of the Oregon coastline, the stronger the desire to visit. Those imposing rock formations presiding over an expansive seascape. The outgoing tide ensures there is an impressive reflection of the rocks, leading the eye through the image. The clouds above are rather delightful, with the blues and greys contrasting with the yellows and browns of the cliffside. Lovely reflection, well captured.

There is a cleanness to this image, a clarity to the light which makes me think this must have been taken in the morning before all the dust and gunk is whipped up by daylight and wind. It's one of the reasons I enjoy morning so much, everything is settled, fresh and the world feels brand new. The light catching on the mountaintops is delightful, picking out textures of the rock and snow. I like that it gives way to landscape below, the colour of the water mirroring the snow.

There is a little lens flare that has crept in to the left of the frame, which may well be a choice to add a little personality to the image, but I find it distracting, pulling me out of the experience. That aside, this is a lovely, evocative scene.

This is a clean and bright image that works well to show off the lighthouse and the surrounding landscape. The texture of the grey rocks below are mirrored in the texture of the clouds above. I like the processing style that you've gone with, keeping the brightness and using it make the image pop. The little accent colours found throughout help to set off the scene, like the red flowers at the bottom and the colours of the roof, contrasting with the blue sky visible through the clouds. An illustrative scene that works well.

I don't know if this is a drone shot or if you're standing on a hill, but either way it gives a fantastic view of the landscape below. What really makes this scene for me is that deep fissure of blue water which you describe as one of the sources of the Cetina river. The colour is fascinating and ultimately makes the image pop. I like the s-curve of the pathway winding through from the spring to the buildings in the distance. You've gone for a colourful processing style which certainly enhances the colour of the water but makes the blue sky seem a little overwhelming. That aside, this is an image that's full of intrigue and interest, thank you for sharing.

I rather fell in love with this image the minute I saw it. Many might not consider this a typical landscape image, but for me this is the essence of landscape photography - to take a scene, somewhere benign, and turn it into something beguiling and beautiful. On it's own, the beach scene would have merit, but the way you've incorporated the footprints of the distant figure, pulling us into the frame, really makes the composition sing. The portrait orientation further ensures the composition works and the subtle hi-key monochrome conversion gives the frame a timeless feel. There is something otherworldly about this image, as the distant fog consumes the view. You tell a thousand different stories with one shot. An unconventional, but worthy winner.

Woodland is one of the hardest disciplines in the category of landscape photography. Essentially you're tasked with creating order out of chaos, which can be even more difficult when there is no uniformity to the trees. However, it's a challenge you've met well in this image, choosing to have a fallen tree in the foreground gives context to the forest behind. The moss covered trees are full of personality, and the overcast sky ensures that the tones are even throughout the composition. The only change I would consider is a tighter crop on the left side, as the trunk that's just creeping into the frame keeps pulling my eye towards it and I'd be intrigued to see if cropping it out made a difference to the overall effectiveness of the image. That aside, this is a charming woodland scene, thank you for sharing.

A classic summer scene of a rural landscape after the farmer has harvested their crops. The trees have that tired look of late summer, when the fresh greens of spring are much more dull and close to giving into autumn. The lines in the field created by the farmer act to pull the eye into the scene, and the blue of the sky contrasts with the yellows and browns below. I like the composition, with the tree on the left acting as the main focal point and the panoramic crop also works well to ensure everything has a place in the frame.

The tale of two structures, linked by the stalwart line of the rocky shore and the petulant sea, whipping up waves to crash onto the coast, time and again. I'm intrigued by the structure in the foreground. It seems oddly out of place., but I love the relationship it has to the lighthouse in the distance, the two reflecting each other in shape and stature. The strong backlight almost overwhelms the image, blowing out some of the highlights in the top left, but that adds to the mood here rather than distracts, and all in this is a dreamy seascape.

This image is all about mood, with the rain drifting across the distant mountains. It's an dramatic scene, demonstrating that landscapes can be beautiful and enticing whatever the weather. I like the dark processing, mirroring the mood of the rain soaked peaks, and the composition works well. Lovely moody, evocative image.

I really love the colours in the this image. The pinks and purples of pre-dawn colouring the whole landscape as we look over from your high vantage point. The mountains are silhouetted against those dawn colours, some of them reflecting in the waters below. An image that is more about mood than content, and I'm sure it's an even more special place to you since this was taken the morning you proposed to your fiancé. An evocative scene, full of hope and meaning.

A classic scene of a wonderful photogenic cottage on a traditionally wet and dramatic Scottish day. I love the mood you've captured with the low cloud drifting over the tops, a hint of light lingers beneath the grey. The bright white cottage steals the scene, set against the little copse of trees and the epic scene behind.

The image is full of texture and life. A well photographed cottage that you've managed to stamp your own style and personality on to, well done.
