What an interesting image! I don't think I've ever seen a photo depicting the division of the two tectonic plates. There is so much texture in this image from the rocky landscape to the pathway that runs between the two rocky outcrops. The moody sky above adds atmosphere and threatens rain, with further grand landscapes visible in the distance. The colourful flowers in the foreground really help to elevate the scene.

Fabulous composition, with the rocks visible in the foreground under the water leading to the little island in the middle of the lake, framed by the double rainbow above, perfectly arching over the trees. What's not to like? Love that this was taken on an iPhone which shows the best camera is the one you have on you. There is a bit of a blue colour cast to the image which could be easily corrected in post to make the image even more powerful.

Neist Point is one of the 'go-to' locations on the Isle of Skye and your image is a great example of why photographers flock to it. The low light catching on the cliff face is delightful, highlighting the lighthouse at the pinnacle of the point which looks tiny in comparison to the surrounding landscape. You've done well to find a useful foreground and the image is set off by the long exposure adding narrative to the sky, picking up on some of the colour bouncing off the clouds. Really nicely done.

You've captured an impressive cloud formation in this image, with that big storm cloud imposing itself on the scene, bringing forth foreboding feelings of the storm that is brewing. I like that the people you've captured on the beach seem to also be watching the weather system move through. I'd recommend cropping out the people on the far right of the frame because they pull the eye out of the image.

I love that this is image was taken on a iPhone and is definitely one of the top 3 images from this round of the contest. It goes to show what really matters is not the technology but how you use it, and here you've really done a great job of capturing the scene. Your choice of portrait orientation works well, with the green ferns in the foreground leading the eye to the headland in the distance and complimenting the turquoise colours in the the sea. Above, the sky is full of textured colours and the whole image is full of atmosphere. Splendid work.

This image shows that you understanding how to arrange the elements in the frame to create a compelling composition. You use the two logs in the foreground to powerful effect by shooting from a low angle, leading the eye to the yellow flowers in the mid ground and the snowy peaks beyond. It's an image that neatly breaks down into three separate slices of composition and demonstrates the smallest of elements (the flowers) to the largest (the mountains) all neatly within one frame.

This is an impressive scene that looks almost otherworldly. I can only image that it is a composite of several different images, because of the vast volume of lightning strikes happening in one place. It could be that the rainbow was also from a different time but because you've not added any explanation in the description, I'm left guessing. That aside, it really demonstrates creativity and that should always be commended. Thank you for sharing.

What I love this image is the fact that you use the pathway that runs through the heart of the scene to powerful effect. The low angle you've adopted means we have a foreground that helps to ground the whole image, and the eye follows from there through and along the gravel pathway into the far distance. On either side of the road, trees in summer bloom line the road, with a hint of low cloud adding some atmosphere. Well seen and captured.

This is a rather fascinating little scene that you've captured. I really enjoy the composition you've created, with the cactus in the middle of the image acting as the main element, leading the eye to the aloe vera plants then the moody hills beyond. The low cloud adds atmosphere, and the texture in the clouds is elevated by the bird soaring through the top of the frame. Really nicely seen and captured.

I love the isolation that you've captured in this drone photograph. The boat seemingly appears to exist on it's own with no context available of where the coast might be, surrounded only by clear turquoise water. I like that you've captured the moment, with the occupants of the boat lounging on the deck, enjoying the sunshine. The colours in the boat contrast with the colour of the water well. The only adjustment I would make would be to centre the boat in the frame which could be easily be sorted in post-production with a quick crop. That aside, there is plenty to like here.

The low light you've captured in this photo is rather divine, catching on the cliffs over the canyon and pulling out the gorgeous red and orange colours. There's a lot of sky in this image which doesn't add a huge amount to the composition and I would recommend a tighter crop so more of our attention is focussed on the part of the image catching the light. There are also some dust spots that have snuck through and could be easily despatched in post-production. That aside there is plenty to enjoy here.
