This image stood out as soon as I saw it, I love the blue of the water the and the ruggedness of the mountains behind it, but a thing that also stand out is the scale given to the whole scene with the ship in the water. The details are nice and sharp throughout the image and the highlights of Shadows are all of good level too.
I really like the simplicity of this composition on first glance, when you then start to look at what makes this image up you realize it's not so simple. The beautiful blue tones the lines running up and down and the iceberg and nice sharp focus, these are all key elements to stand out in this top 10 photo. Thank you very much for entering the competition.
I really like this image, it takes you somewhere warm and away from the city. The light working is way past the tree and onto the grass that you shop for who is really nice, this just sings golden hour very very well. To maybe help improve it a little bit would be for a bit more depth of field on those grasses in the foreground just as they're not so darkening powering over the rest of the image.
I really like what you've worked in this image it's some beautiful details, for long exposure shot where the water has been smoothed out really nicely the rocks are nice and sharp. I would say everything feels a little bit squished into the frame though, so sometimes giving rocks a little bit of space on either side can really help with the composition.
I really enjoyed seeing this image, it's a nice balance of mountains and water in the view, plus with the reflection as an added bonus in the very still water. A little room for improvement would be to have a bit of space on the edge so with the top of the mountains are have a little bit more sky, and the same at the bottom of the frame with the edge of the water as the all feels a bit squeezed into the shot, but it's still a good image nonetheless.
Another worthy top 10 image, with the moody sky and the light hitting the land and the water in the right places it helps set a lovely tone. The crazy sky which just adds to the atmospheric image. One of the standout pieces in the shot is the light in the bottom left hand corner just catching off of the sand and the grasses on the beach, like how those have been caught in camera.
A really nice clean image, with tack shark details in the rocks and the tones preserved along with the highlights and shadows. I really like how the horizon is in the middle of the frame the rocks into balance fairly well within the shot too. The nice addition of the bird sitting on the rocks also works and it's not too distracting, it helps set the scene.
Really worthy winner, blue tones and the beautiful reflection on the water to the light that you've caught on the mountains in the background. These are all elements making up powerful image and then when you add in the fence running into the water giving a leading line this is strength to this to the quality of the work that you produced. Thank you very much for entering the competition.

Really enjoyed seeing this image Iam pleased to be able to place it highly in the competition. The colours, the focus and the moodiness in this sky really stand out. An area from improvement would be just to make sure that horizon is nice and level as to me it looks like it's sloping slightly. These little attentions to detail can make a big difference.
A really lovely scene that you've captured here, I really like the use of the aspect ratio to pull the eye into beautifulness of the mountains and the light that's also hitting them. You've preserved the highlights well and the textures in the cloud as it rolls along the top of the mountain is saved very well too. Overall this is a really nice rolling image with some great tonal range and characteristics.
Really nice scene you have captured here, the highlights are not blowing out where they are meant to be preserved which is really good, the big distraction for me though is the branches at the middle at the top of the frame, I can't help but notice them and they could potentially be better not being included in the image, although it is hard to say what you can and can't get into the shot, because sometimes we are limited in what space we have to work with.
Really nice image with some beautiful details in the reflection on the glass like water, it complements the lovely tones in the mountains in the distance. An area to help improve the image would be to try and get some of that detail in the sky perhaps but by underexposing a little, or by using a graduated filter, nonetheless a really nice image thank you for entering into the competition.

Really lovely piece of work, I like the old looking buildings and the nice rich colors in the foliage and in the grass, the moody sky works really well with the rainbow showing that the storm has just passed, helping to set the scene. It's worth just been a little bit careful to make sure that you get rid of those watermarks or potential marks on the sensor that you can see as these distract the image a little bit.
