A really good image to have entered into the competition that has a timeless feel to it yet has been captured on some of the newest technology available to us as creators, I like how you have shot this from a lower perspective with the drone, but have been very considerate to preserve the shadow and highlight details. Your choice for black and white as the edit has certainly helped what looks like it could have been a bleak day to appear more inviting.
In contrast to some of the other images in this round of the competition, I really like how colourfully and glowing this image is. You have done well to capture the light hitting the mountains at the back of the image and also preserved the finer details within the trees. Your framing of the shot also works really well with the trees working so well with this.
This is another great image that is nice to see in the competition. I like the water breaking over the rocks and the focus is nice and sharp on them too. Where you could help to improve this image is to use a graduated filter for the sky as it is very bring in contrast to the rest of the image and is starting to be a little bit overpowering.
I enjoyed seeing this entry, it has some good characteristics such as rich details and lovely colours. i like how the branch takes you out to the lake as well. Where there is room for improvement is on the bits of tree poking into the shot in the top and top right of the frame, this is quite distracting and would be better off being excluded in the composition or even being cooled or cropped out of possible.
This is a great snapshot of time as the sun moves through the day as you move through the countryside, giving a snippet into a moment of your life, its amazing when photography does this. The tree works well in hiding what would have been a powerful overpowering in the shot, so well done for using this as a tool for the composition.
I really like the minimalist feel of this image. The 1 3rd ground and 2 3rds sky works well as does the little details that are in the image such as the clouds just above the mountains. The choice for black and white also works very well as it helps to make the image far less distracting and easier for the viewer to see the interesting parts of the work.
This is quite a interesting image, it has some great characteristics such as the backlight making the foliage in the foreground pop and be illuminated well, also the exposure is set well in the foreground, but where there is room for some improvement is with the sun in the background, I feel this is just too overpowering and becomes a distraction for the viewer
This is another really interesting image for this round of the competition, some of the good parts of the shot are how well you have observed the highlights and shadows, but where there is room for improvement is to watch out for the focus on the trees, as some of the details are lost in them and this will help your image and further work to stand out more
This is a really nicely captured image and stands out well against lots of the other work that was entered. The red of the house pops from the woods, but also at the same time is complimented in some of the hues. One part that catches my eye and could make an improvement is the light brown patch in the bottom right corner, this is a little distracting from the other strong characteristics of your work.
A really lovely image with some great tones in both the sea and the sky. Stand-out parts of the image are the highlights not being blown out and the details that are nice and sharp in the whole image. It's nice seeing the horizon slightly off the middle of the frame, but you have still allowed for plenty of sand and water for the foreground. The colours in the image are nice and representative of what you see in the golden hour. Really well done.

I really like the footprints running through the shot, capturing a snapshot of time before the waves in the distance wash them away. The harsh unforgiving light is also controlled within your image with the choice to present in black and white, where the high contrast works to your advantage. I love your attention to this and also to keeping the details nice and sharp
I really liked seeing this image in the entries as it is quite different. I like the cool blue feel and also the details in the building being nice and sharp, when they are not they really stand out in night photography work. I think where there is a bit of room for improvement is the spacing on the shot as I believe there is too much water in the foreground, it would be nice to see this being a bit more balanced and perhaps with a bit more sky.

This is a really quirky image and I like how you have used the bridge for framing the shot and also as a leading line, all the focus points that should be sharp are, the chains, the buildings and the bridge frame. I also like the exposure being done well, all these components have made for a strong image that has worked well.
A nicely presented atmospheric shot from one of the moodiest places in the UK, and your image captures that ell. I like the desaturated look of the work, but there impending rain in the clouds helps to frame the shot work so well too. Your focus is nice and sharp throughout the image, plus another really nice touch is the body of water is not too bright and distracting.
This is a really well-captured image, with the great addition of the side light helping to illuminate the boat, this really helps to make the image stand out more. Also, the colour retained in the sky is amazing too, this adds a lot of punch to your work. Your focus is well done and adds strength to the work too., maybe for a little experimentation, a bit more light on the red thing to the left of the boat as this is something I want to see more of but can't.
