An effective travel photo that shows off the location well. A sunny day with clear blue skies and azure waters at a beach that isn't overcrowded! The line of the cliff appears to grow exponentially into the sky and looms over the viewer, adding to the hidden paradise feel. A simple yet effective shot!
A beautiful soft palette and dreamy vibe. The first aspect I noticed was how well the little girls clothes match the colours in the sky. The use of negative space reinforces the feeling of isolation represented by the small human figure. There are even subtle lead in lines of tyre tracks curving towards the girl. Nice work!
A well composed photo that provides a good sense of place. The main chairlift provides a lead in line that draws the viewers eye into the image, then gets lost in the mystery of the gloomy clouds. A second scene of skiers and another chairlift plays out underneath adding extra interest. The central patch of blue skies helps keep a symmetry to the entire image while adding a splash of colour.
A very captivating photo taken with care and skill. A challenging situation to shoot in to maintain details in the highlights, and you've done that well. The golden light adds a beautiful warm to the cold appearing location. It's the little things in this shot that I like the most. The subtle light rays in the dark patch of sky, the buoy that adds a little depth to the scene, the small shadows off the lighthouse and buoy, and the little bit of light coming out of the lighthouse. An overall well constructed and taken photo.
Great work with capturing the stars and, I'm assuming, moonlit landscape with a balanced exposure. You've also managed to focus on the stars and mountain perfectly. The only downside to this is the out of focus information board. While it's not too distracting it is something to think about for future astro shots. Either giving focus stacking a go or maybe leaving out a close foreground object entirely. The more I think about this image though the more I feel like I'm in a dream landscape trying, but failing, to read important information. Especially about that mountain lion looking chart!
A very captivating image and story. The lone figure on the boat brings a sense of mystery and intrigue. The monochrome blue tones and silvery light on the water work well with the night time theme. The central light on the water does well to spotlight the main subject and keep the viewers eye within the image.
An effort well rewarded! A view like this is always going to warrant a photo. You've captured a good balance of main subject and surrounding landscape. Even the clouds along the top of the image help frame the scene and keep the viewers eyes from trailing off. The exposure is well balanced too between the sunny and shady sides of the mountain. Nice shot!
Such magnificent golden light with punchy contrast. Even the silhouetted figures take on dark golden tones in this atmospheric image. Crisp details can be seen throughout each layer partially shrouded by the foggy air. The animals stand out just enough to be a main subject while letting the viewer admire the landscape they inhabit. I feel like a see another one each time I look! Stunning light and truly magical scene, well done!
A magical scene of sea, ice and mountains with dreamy lighting conditions. The warm highlights contrast nicely with the cool shadows, providing texture and detail to the ice shelf meeting the sea. This image would work well in a panoramic format crop, eliminating the excess sky and almost distracting highlight spot in the clouds. A great shot with wonderful colour grading!

Great light and an interesting location. The golden light beaming through the dark clouds and the sky reflecting in small scattered puddles in the textured concrete make for a great image. Everything important in the photo is happening in the central region though. Try a tighter crop and straightening the horizon to give this image a quick and easy boost!
You have a good eye to see the potential in a scene such as this. The moody sky and golden fields are a great combination. Throw in a lone tree and powerlines for extra interest and you could spend quite some time here exploring compositions, focal lengths and shutter speeds! Keep up the good exploring!
Such a delightful landscape and photo. I'm normally one to suggest focusing in on the main details without adding unnecessary filler. But your choice to put the subject off to one side and include its surroundings was the right one. The more you look, the more you see too. The cloudy sky seems to be highlighting just what you want it to. From the intentionally out of focus foreground, to the lower level trees, to the main subject of the farm buildings themselves. And if you look closer, the clouds part to spotlight a very similar scene in the far distance! A keen eye can also enjoy the little story of the couple getting a posed shot in the door of the building. Lovely work!
