A wonderfully grand image full of depth, light and scale. The sunlight draws the viewers attention to the centre of the frame and towards the central peak. It takes on an almost posed look as it curves upward towards the sky. The distant mountains are like an audience witnessing the central display. The viewer then notices the little structures blending in with the landscape, and the human figure dwarfed by the scene in front of them. Really well composed and exposed shot. Great work!

Beautiful light and scene. The sunlight filtering through the branches and the surrounding glow add a warmth to the foggy and cold appearing scene. The road adds a nice leading line towards the distant row of trees. Keeping the detail in the tree while maintaining the glare of the sun shows a good control of exposure. Well done!

A very dreamy image! The scattered light from the fog attracts the eye, then pushes it away, like real glare would, towards the detail in the overhanging tree and the green grass. A lovely scene with well composed proportions. I even like how one branch seems to bend down on the left to stay in the frame! Well done!

Calming blue and a good abstract feel. The shipwreck has a slightly higher contrast than the surrounding reef/rock under the water, making it attract the eye and see the extra details of the scene. The canoe and paddle boards add a great sense of scale and story. Looking closer it looks like a school of sharks or large fish in the bottom right? A great shot on the macro and micro scale!
A simple shot, well composed, and that's all it needs. Middle of the day, blue sky shots are usually avoided in landscape photography. But then people miss out on wonderful scenes like this. It's a bright and calming shot with detail and colour in just the right proportions. The reflections add extra interest and the patchy cloud takes up just enough of the blue sky. I find a smile forming on my face when I look at this photo. Great work!
A detailed isometric scene that gives off Simcity vibe. The time of day adds a great amount of light and contrast to the facades of the buildings. The overall neutral tones of the buildings are interspersed with blues and greens and deeper reds. The little visible intersection in the bottom right only add to the miniature and game-like feel to the scene. Lots of interest and a great shot!
A very interesting scene that has a painterly feel to it. Lots of little stories all working together to create a cohesive image. Although the wooden poles at the bottom frame that part of the image and provide a different texture and interest, I feel like the scene would work well without them too. The distract slightly from the dreamy misty air in the rest of the shot. Still a fascinating photo! Well done!
A wonderful shot of Florence and the Duomo. The glowing light adds to the details and contrast on the buildings. One thing to easily improve the photo and look out for in future images is the horizon line. Although you can't see it due to the mountains, it's still possible to tell it's not straight as the whole scene is dipping down towards the right. A lovely scene and well exposed!
A lovely view of the landscape! Little details attract the eye and fit their place in the image. Such as the flowers in the foreground and the curve of the closer vegetation that frames the bottom of the shot. The distant mountains and bay provide and good background and the clouds hold the top of the frame. Good exposure and composition!
A minimalist landscape shot with plenty of empty space to focus the attention on the reflected urban scene. There's an interesting juxtaposition between the lush green of the parkland and the intrusive tower rising from the centre. The buildings in the distance add to the permanence and normality of this relationship we have with nature. An overall calming image. Well taken.
I love the drama in the sky and the long focal length to give the clouds an even more looming and ominous feel. The birds and horse add life and movement to the scene as the viewer can play out the path of the birds and the flickering of the horses tails. A wonderful shot with a great sense of place.
