A wonderful photo highlighting the mountain peak bathed in light, while also showing a hint of the surrounding town. The out of focus foreground branches help to add depth and interest to the photo while partially framing the snow dusted summit. The clear blue sky helps accentuate shapes, colour and details of the peak. An overall good image!
This photo has a timeless and artistic beauty. The familiar shapes of distant mountains hold the viewers attention as the mind struggles to make sense of the apparent hole in the foreground made by the reflection of the sky in the lake. The strong contrast gives a Ying and Yang vibe to the whole image, adding the well balanced exposure and composition.
I can see the kind of image you are trying to create here. There is definitely some interesting material to work with and you've composed this shot in a well balanced way from this position. I feel the lighting conditions have let you down in this instance, which makes the viewers eye struggle to find an anchoring point of focus. You have a good eye for what could make a good photo.
Shooting directly at the sun can be a challenging endeavour. You've achieved a great result in this technically difficult situation. The silhouette of the tree provides a sense of place while allowing the colours and subtle details in the clouds to take centre stage. The amount of glare is just enough to give a realistic reflex to look away from the sun. Great work!

Everywhere you look there are fine details. This is a great display of considered focus, exposure and composition. The brightness is just right for these fading light conditions. It has a slightly darker feel that cameras tend to over expose at this time of day. The details in the highlights are well balanced with those in the darker shadows. There is a good amount of the city shown and not too much negative space from the sea and sky. A really well taken photo!
I really like the strong colours of the dune and sky with the dancing shapes of the trees. The dark shadowy figures seem to be reaching out of the cold, trying to reach the distant light. My only, very minor, suggestion is to crop out about half the space between the right edge of the photo and the branch. With the background trees all on the left, this will help balance out the weight of elements in the scene. Great work!

A well positioned and framed photo. While the moon is the immediate point of attention, the narrow depth of field draws the eye away from the slightly out of focus moon to the detailed frosted landscape. The vibrant cool tones in the shadows play with the minds perception of the monochrome areas, giving them a contrasting subtle red feel with the absence of colour. An interesting image with lots to explore.
An interesting perspective is a great way to immediately capture a viewers attention. The focus is well controlled and sharp on the scattered floats. Although the sky is dramatic and interesting, it takes attention away from the main subject by shear brightness level alone. A brighter foreground would help keep the attention on the subject matter. A good eye for the interesting!
A beautiful scene and good composition. There is a decent ratio of foreground, background and sky elements. The mist in the trees and hills helps create a layered effect and add depth to the photo. The fine details are a little soft, but that's to be expected with a phone cameras zoom. The photo itself is probably as good as it can be. You have the eye for good subject matter and composition. Well done!
A really interesting photo that looks like it was well thought out and taken in a controlled way. What is letting this photo down from getting a higher level is basically the quality of file submitted. It can only be judged on what is presented and not on what it "might" be. I'd love to see a higher quality version of this shot with all the wonderful detail and light in the water that this one suggests.
The light and detail in the clouds is sublime. The colours are soft and calming. Even though there isn't much of a horizon, it is perfectly straight! It really is a lovely photo of clouds. One thing that could elevate this particular shot is letting the main elements stand out more by cropping just above the water to the top of the main cloud structure. Although the water shows that this was taken from a boat or shore, it doesn't add to the point of the image. Let the clouds shine on their own without potentially distracting elements.
These are perfect conditions for a quiet moody landscape shot. As anything too far away from the camera has it's colours muted, it provides a great chance for little pops of colour like this flower to stand out more. The brightness of the background does overpower the colour a bit too much here, drawing the eye up and away from the main point of focus. A lovely shot and mood none-the-less.
Lovely light and warmth. I can see you have taken careful consideration to align the sun in the centre of the image and maintain a good measure of composition throughout the rest of the image. The warm sunlight scatters through the dandelion seed heads beautifully. The glare from the sun is just enough to force the eye away from the bright highlight to scan the surrounding image. Well done!
A lovely little scene with misty moody conditions that has a lot of potential. The exposure is good and you've captured some intriguing elements. To my eye it seems they are all weighted to the bottom left of the image. A slight pan down to left with the camera could improve the composition on location. With this image I'd recommend cropping out some of the negative space on the right and top of the image to help balance the scene. You could also evenly space the tree and the white barn in a more square crop image. Either way, a good eye for the interesting!
