Good work with the Milky Way photography. The stars are clear and in focus. The silhouetted landscape provides an interesting shape to the night sky with the darkness taking up one entire side and base of the frame. The Milky Way itself then completing a triangle structure. Nice concept and well taken.
The road gives the viewer a winding leading line through the scattered buildings towards the looming mass of the distant mountains. The smaller details of figures walking the road add a scale of distance more imposing that that ordinarily set by a vehicle. The colourful prayer flags also aid in a sense of place.
It is clear to see the consideration in composition in this image. The three equidistant spaced trees provide scale and details that compliment the expansive landscape in the distance. My only minor suggestion would be to crop a very small portion off the right of the frame to perfectly centre the middle tree. When so much care has gone into composing symmetry, the slightest discrepancy can be visually jarring without knowing why. Only a very minor point on a great shot!
A wonderfully calming image with warm rusty tones as well as cool misty features. The foreground landscape provides a sleepy atmosphere. An atmosphere with imminent change by the growing light on the distant dunes. A minor point to improve the professional look of the image would be a tighter crop, one that removes the scar of footprints up the dune on the right, and the tiny bit of tree cut off by the frame on the far left. While keeping the same aspect ratio., this would drastically remove distractions and retain the overall feel of the photo. Either way, well done!
A wonderful rural Australian photo. The use of longer focal length helps to focus on the key features of the landscape while compressive perspective and scale. The featuring tree adds detail and scale to the forest hill in the distance. The lone animal, allow much smaller, balances out the right side of the frame. The rise of the dirt road and fence add further depth to the scene.
A surreal captivating image with loads of details to explore. The subject matter is highly suited to this concept with the roads acting like leading lines, reinforcing the tunnel like point of view. The clouds in the sky appear like a catchlight in an eye or glass ball. Even with the distortion, the details are clean and in focus. Fantastic work and well executed!
A beautiful crystal clear reflection. Conditions light this make it almost impossible to not take a photo. The landscape is stunning, and doubly so due to the mirror finish in the lake. The composition is good as a central horizon works well for reflection shots. I'd suggest trying a very tight crop of just the central area. If the entire frame was divided into nine equal portions, then just the central region is vital to the feel of this scene.
A wonderful use of black and white to set a scene and tell a story. The burst of sunlight plays nicely with the shape and texture of the palms. The glare of the light pushes the viewers eye away for it to notice the figure on the swing contrasting against the brightly lit water. A great composition and exposure.
While I must point out that the quality of details and pixels in this image aren't of a very high standard, the composition, colours, and subject matter still make it an interesting photo. The warm autumn tones set the scene beautifully and the leading line of the path that draws the viewers eye to the distant white building provides a narrative. While I'm personally not a fan of adding a border to images, in this case the curved corners reinforce the vintage feel of the image. A great example of exceptions to rules. Good work!

While the jet is the key feature of the photo, it's the landscape that gives it the sense of place and interesting perspective. The rocky crag and moody sky provide a clue to the location, while the jet seems to unexpectedly launch up from the ground. A well composed and taken image that leaves the viewer wanting to know more.

An iconic tree, sadly lost, represented marvellously here in a shadow play style image. The bowl shape of the light cradles the story of the image. Figures journey onwards past the landmark tree. A keen eye might even spy what appears to be a wizard with cowl and staff. Or it may just be a hood and walking stick! Wonderful simplistic story telling!
