This is one of those instances of a good photo within a photo. All the life and visual appeal is taking place in the sunlit beach area. While the tree covered hillside does show more of the landscape, it doesn't add as much as you might think. Try cropping to just the bottom half and the photo will take on a whole new life. The light, colours and exposure are all great too!
The image has a vintage film feel and gives the impression of a profile picture of the mountain. The peak takes on a personality in this photo, as if it has been guided into this pose for a sombre reflective emotion. The foreground foliage helps give a sense of place too. My only minor suggestion would be to straighten the horizon line slightly. Once you see the subtle dipping to the left it stands out. An easy fix for a photo with a fantastic feel.
A creative way to provide foreground interest that represents the location, as well as providing a natural frame for the broader landscape. I like how the shape of the wood, along with the hole, almost looks like an eye. The central placement of the gap works well here, although I would recommend a tighter crop to remove some of the sky. This would emphasise the mountain view more as well as draw more attention to the wood.
A lovely early morning scene with a great view of a misty landscape. The tow bushes in the foreground are well placed to help anchor the sides of the frame and keep the viewers gaze towards the centre. The warm tones in the sky contrast nicely with the cooler tones in the trees and hills. The large range of colours give the image a vibrant feel. Nice work!
A lovely tranquil golden image. The has a "black and gold" feel to it, instead of a "black and white" image. The longer focal length has allowed the foreground to be out of focus and draw the viewers eye more to the details of the line of trees. It also compresses perspective making the clouds feel closer and more a part of the main scene, rather than just a background element. The hills in the distance add even more depth. Well done!
You have a good eye to see the interesting scene presented to you here and to capture it in this way. The rocky terrain and almost clone like buildings contrast against the vivid blue water and empty sky. I do feel as if there is too much sky and water present. A more square central crop to have essentially equal parts sky, land and water would give the same effect, without too much empty space.
This image has so much working for it. The stark white facades of the seaside buildings with their pops of blue and red colour are definitely the main eye catching feature. The attention is then drawn down to the highlighted bottom right corner, which due to being out of focus, pushes the eye up to see the human elements interacting with the coastal urban landscape. The warmer white balance suits the time of day and feel of the location too. Great work!

A good use of black and white photography. The arched bridge is well lit and contrasts against the darker terrain, attracting the eye first. Other features such as the manmade waterway and quarry then grab attention. These all work together to add a story of the location and the brutal impact of man on this mountainside. Great work!
A well composed photo of the waterfall. There is just enough long exposure to blur the water slightly and still retain details, which give the flow a more dynamic feel rather than the tranquil completely blurred out water. A good balance of foreground elements as well. The closed aperture and low ISO has allowed you to slow the shutter speed without the use of filters. If you're still learning and want to get longer shutter speeds without filters, I'd suggest heading to waterfalls later in the day when the light is fading. Then you can slowly increase shutter times and keep the aperture in the sharper middle range. I only mention this as you indicated you're learning new skills! Good work with this shot!
There are so many leading lines drawing the eye into the centre left of the frame! The lines on the road and the diminishing perspective of the road itself, the slope of the mountains on either side, even the direction of the motorbike all draw you into the shot. The bike adds a story element to the scene, giving the landscape photo a touch of travel or documentary to it as well. Well composed and well taken.

A wonderfully classic landscape photo with lots of colour and detail. The road provides a strong leading line into the frame as well as foreground interest. The mountains and sky backdrop the rest of the landscape superbly. The reddish tones of the buildings pop out of the green and earthy tones, allowing the viewers eye to explore the scene. Well done!

A great representation of the density and uniformity of high population living. Each little square can be seen as a glimpse of the lives of the people living here, or as a somewhat human menagerie. The painted colour gradient feature does little to reduce the monotonous design of the complex, almost accentuating it simply by the attempt. Lots to explore in this photo and well composed and aligned.
