This photo instantly makes me want to take a drive down this golden road. The verdant sun drenched hills to either side are like something out of a fantasy adventure. The closer I look the more details I see. From and old stone wall and a scattering of sheep, to people on the crest to the left and what looks like one on the precipice to the right. A wonderfully warm and uplifting image!

The things that work well in this image are the waters texture created by the long exposure, the warm tones of the ground cover combined with the subtle green of the water, and the slight glare of the sun. Unfortunately the long exposure that gives the water its luxurious look has also created the ghosting of the edges, due to trying to keep steady without a tripod. The composition and colours are still great and make it an interesting photo!

Great use of long exposure to give the lake a glossy texture and the clouds a feathery look. The partially submerged fence provides a good leading line towards the stone building nestled amongst the trees on the opposite shore. I love the sweeping curve of the clouds and their subtle reflection of highlights in the water. It adds a sense of the dramatic to the generally calm scene. Great shot!

A well balanced, well exposed photo. The colour palette and moody atmosphere suit the subject matter perfectly. I love the texture on the water and the crisp details throughout. The three structures in the water create a great depth to the frame. Well done!

A beautiful two toned image of quiet solitude. It is interesting how the photo seems split in two down the middle with the reflected light on the water and the shadow of the clouds. The lone boat and fisherman is well positioned in the light side with the direction of the boat angled into the frame. Great composition and colours!

In this photo the road and trees are used to great effect, creating strong leading lines towards the distant mountains. Adding to this is the shallow depth of field as seen in the foreground, pushing the eye further into the frame. The cold blue tones match the subject matter well, creating an engaging winter scene.

Layer upon layer upon layer. The thick hazy air does a great job of separating the hills into different segments, creating depth and interesting shapes. The brighter plume of smoke from the narrow chimney gives the viewer a possible explanation for the haze that goes beyond the mere morning fog. It also draws the eye in to see all the little hidden details of buildings and farms scattered throughout.

You've done a great job here turning an autumn scene at a park into something out of a fairy-tale. The bright highlight of the basketball backboard instantly brings the eye into the centre of the frame. The pine greens and rusty reds play well together. The lighting and exposure are great too. Well done!

A straight forward composition that shows the simplest option is usually the best one. The small building in the centre immediately draws the viewers eye in with its geometric shape and high contrast white windows. The warm sunshine coming from the right of the frame counterbalances the stormy clouds and rain in the distance. After exploring the vast landscape, the eye keeps seeking shelter and comfort in the building. Just as a person would after making their journey here on foot.

I love the light all throughout this photo. The shadow of the mountain as seen through the mist angled down to the dense fog on the ground is like an inverted sunbeam. The lines and texture of the mountainside on the left are magical. There is plenty of depth and intrigue wherever you look. The details do seem a bit soft and potentially out of focus, but this almost adds to the dreamy nature of the scene.

Such a lovely little scene composed and exposed well. The whole image is naturally framed on all sides by trees, foreground, and a band of clouds. The sun is positioned perfectly in the little dip of the hill crest. The stream acts as a leading line into the photo and towards the sun. A cute little stone building and fence give the viewer a story to imagine.

There is fantastic movement, life and story telling going on in this photo. The crackling fire adds a warm light to the night air, illuminating the branch and bottle. The light painting circle provides even more of a dynamic feel. With so much bright light and dark night, you've done well to expose the photo this well after two minutes! Great work!

There is a wonderful atmospheric glowing light throughout this scene. A brightness that brings out the rich blue of the water and gives the beach an shimmering appeal. The vantage point shows off the remote secluded feel of the location, matched by the scattering of people and cars. An inviting image that promotes a calm serenity.

A classic view of the Venetian canals. The diminishing perspective of the buildings and other elements all draw the eye into the frame to the small arched bridge in the centre. One minor suggestion I would make is a slightly tighter crop, one that cuts out the very far right part of the building that juts out slightly, and to just underneath the boat and start of the buildings on the left. Anything from a square crop to a 2:3's ratio would work well. This would centre the bridge even more and remove the distracting bright green flag. Still a well taken photo!
