An eerily beautiful scene with a quiet tranquillity. The viewers eye is drawn away from the chaos of snow covered trees on the left to the relative calm of the darker lake. There the eye finds tiny figures along the shore, providing a sense of scale to the landscape. A tiny hint of warmth hides in the centre of the frame, acting like a sanctuary from the cold.
The colours in this photo are fantastic. The contrast between the earthy burnt orange and the vibrant blue sky are definitely captivating. The lone tree adds a nice point of interest in the foreground too. I do feel like there are a couple of things that could elevate this photo even more. The negative space of the sky works well as a descriptive element, but you probably don't need so much. Try cropping the image by dragging down the top right, so the right of the frame sits in between the two green shrubs at the end of the trees shadow. It will balance out the scene more without taking away the message of the photo.
An expansive desert landscape with distinct layers. The use of a telephoto lens has compressed these various colours and textures together into a visually captivating image. The beigey rocky foreground has lines that run from left to right, then there is a giant wedge of honey coloured sand, devoid of almost all detail. This is followed by a rusty Mars-like landscape in the background. If it wasn't for the trees providing a sense of place, one could be forgiven for thinking this was a collage of different locations put together in Photoshop! You've done a great job to capture this all in one shot!
A lovely shot of the mosque. The time of day works perfectly to maintain the light in the sky and details of the building, while allowing the bright artificial light to add an extra element to the characteristics of the architecture. You've done well to include the imagery on the tiles as well as the top of the minaret, while still keeping the frame feeling visually balanced.
A well composed and exposed photo. The sunlit arch is definitely the star of the show, yet it allows the rest of the landscape to share in the admiration. Using a long exposure to remove the details from the clouds makes the finer details in the rest of the image stand out in contrast. Wonderful shot!
A quaint little scene with gorgeous light and an idyllic lifestyle vibe. The cute little home and lighthouse bathed in sunlight, with a bright red outer building, is enough to make most people dream of a simple life in solitude here. What I initially thought was a mirror finish calm lake provided me with a surprise of a low angle shot across a puddle in the rocks. A great find for the photographer to create this stunning reflection. Great work!
A tremendous seascape photo! The fiery sky brings warmth and light to the cold and wet landscape. The lighthouse and buildings are well positioned to capture the eye, while reflecting the warm sunset light. It stands above the cloud like ocean as if surveying the world beneath it. Exposure and focus are good too. Well done!

A beautiful and lush waterfall scene. The level of exposure across the scene is good, maintaining most of the highlight details in the cascade as well as the shadow details in the surrounding foliage. The fern close left and the trees on the right add depth to the rest of the photo. A tranquil view with a calming effect.
A dream-like scene that does the beauty of the location justice. The sunlit leaves of the trees provide a wonderful natural frame for the gentle wind touched surface of the lake. The sun itself shimmers through a gap in the foliage. The distant shore draws the viewers eye out over the water. Well done!
A simple composition that works really well. The church is obviously the main subject of the photo, yet it allows the surrounding landscape and features to join with its character in the periphery. The viewer is able to look at the red roof and white walls, while taking in the leading line of the dark road. As well as the verdant sloping hill, and vibrant blue sky with a soft scattering of cloud. The building sits in its little world and this photo shares it with us.
