The depth of field works really well here and has helped create an abstract approach to a 'portrait'. A good use of colour, composition and location all add to its appeal as does the warm glow from the Chicago sun.

This is a wonderful scene under the sunset sky. The movement and flow of the skaters on the ice are quite mesmerizing, the figures resembling a Lowry painting which I love about it. Would be great to see it blown up very big as a print.

Great use of the available light. Along with the subjects fixed gaze to camera, it creates quite an intense feel to the image. I would like to see more of the scene/person so a wider shot but that's just my view on it! It works very well as a documentary portrait image of the boxer.

What an interesting shot. I read your text after I viewed the image so my first thought was, it would be stronger if the baby was facing camera but now I think differently! It's very funny and of course informative, I never knew that about China.

This is a really interesting photographic angle on the Extinction Rebellion demonstrations. One that reveals a sentiment deeper than the imagery we are exposed to in the media. I think the brave approach to get in close is really interesting cutting out the noise of the demonstrations we are used to seeing. I hope you carry on, these would/will make a great series.
