An interesting image for the theme, but I like the bold and original interpretation. And while there may not be a person in the frame there is a very definite human presence. I'd guess this was one person's shoe collection and so makes a unique and nsightful portrait.

Beautifully observed and captured scene. The layering is really effective and rich with a wonderful variety of textures. The lack of horizon is cunning and adds to the sense of mystery as to what the subjects might be looking at. I like a sense of implied narrative like this. Well done.

A sign of the times. People taking photos with smartphones is an interesting subject in its own right. As a commentary on the world we live in today, it is fascinating. The framing and muted colour palette create a lovely layer effect giving a sense of depth.

Great use of mixed lighting (or maybe a filter) to create a vibrant portrait. The blue and red hues add energy and tension to the image, which is slightly at odds with the smiley pose of the subject. Nice work.

The distant human presence of cars on the bridge is another bold and daring interpretation of the theme, but one that works well. It acts as a poignant reminder of our relationship with the environment, our amazing engineering achievements and how small we all are in the big picture. Thought-provoking stuff.

I love the sense of narrative in this dynamic image. I'm assuming the dog is being rescued which makes an interesting story. The composition is deftly handled as well. the strong diagonal and the two pairs of red shorts all work harmoniously to pull the shot together.

Another image in this round that uses negative space to great effect in the compsotion. The dominance of the sky and the position of the main subject are nicely balanced. The very subtle, near black and white colour palate also works well. Good work!

Clever use of glass and reflections to make an intriguing image. The strong (mainly) vertical lines work well in the frame creating an interesting layering, especially when combined with the reflected landscape and half-seen face. The black and white conversion has been skillfully handled too. Well done.

A beautifully gentle portrait. The quiet, contemplative gaze of the subject matches the natural tranquillity of the background wonderfully. The shallow depth of field has also created a lovely bokeh which helps separate the subject from the background and intensifies the peaceful vibe.

Pure joy is captured in a single photo. Well done. Lovely smiles aside, the glare from shooting into the sun helps create a magical and ethereal vibe, it also creates a lovely backlight on the subject's hair. The echoes of red work well too. Nicely done!

Wow, there's a lot going in this frame. How many stories are happening concurrently I'm not quite sure, but there are enough to keep the viewer engaged. The black and white conversion has been skillfully handled. Intriguing and entertaining. Well done.

What a delightful capture using a playful and cunning use of composition. I wonder if it was preconceived or if the photographer just saw the opportunity and snapped it, the title 'Stolen Moment' suggest a sneaky capture. Either way well done, it's ace!

I absolutely love this image. The composition is simply sublime. The use of space is perfect and the position of the main subject is inspired. The light tones of the hand holding a phone become a wonderful focal point. This is really top-notch work. Original and exciting.
