People doing things is a really effective way to make engaging images. There's a lovely sense of place in this workshop. The lighting and processing have been skilfully handled. The connection between the two boat builders collaborating on a project creates a strong and dynamic composition too. Good work!
Excellent work, It's not easy working in challenging lighting situations like this, but you've pulled it off skillfully. However, it is the artistic intent that I really love and I'm particularly impressed that it was inspired by Aleksandr Rodchenko's 'The Girl with the Leica'. Good work. Keep it up!
This is an excellent portrait. I love the connection with the subject and there's some great attitude in the eyes. The black and white conversion has been skillfully handled. If I'm being really nit-picky the point of focus is not quite on the eye, it's just a few mm in front, it's hardly noticeable, but when working with a small aperture (such as f2.8) for a super-shallow depth of field like this, the focus point becomes all the more critical. This is a great photo though. Good work!
Excellent use of creative lighting. I love the way half the face is in deep shadow, it is a very effective way you add drama and in this instance works really well. On close inspection there seem to be lots of artefacts which suggest the file is a little overprocessed. Otherwise, this is super shot! Well done.
A lovely capture in the travel photograpy tradition. The colours are sublime and the herder's red coat harmonises with the dramatic sky beautifully. The composition Is bold and strong with the main character in the middle. And the uplifting vibe to the overall image is the icing on the cake.

I love the sense of storytelling in this image, even though I'm not quite sure what the story is. The mystery is good - why is the main character holding flowers to her face? The angle of view, use of focus and negative space all play to the narrative. Shame about the credit, it's unnecessary and disrupts the composition.
I'd guess that working underwater must be one of the most challenging places to make to photograph people, so kudos for nailing a lovely shot. The ray in the background is sublime - excellent timing. Possibly one of the most adventurous selfies I've seen. Good work! Shame about the copyright at the top, it's unnecessary and doesn't do the composition any favours.
There is an intense and powerful connection with the subject in this intriguing portrait. Typically photographers shy away from the dappled shade for portraits as it's so hard to work with, however, in this instance the photographer has handled the challenging situation well and the light adds depth.
