This is a nicely balanced portrait with a difference. WIthout showing her face you have still managed to capture such a lovely feeling in your photo. Her hand on the har, the texture of her hair against her clothes and the softness of the background all work well together. The light and tone of the image also help build the overall feeling.
I find this to be a very interesting composition. The shapes and textures in the photograph work so well together. The sullen expression of your subject matches the coldness and wintery feeling of the leafless trees in the background. I think converting this photo to black and white has helped to give it more depth and feeling.
This is a wonderful photo full of feeling and depth. The couple's expressions are precious. You have captured the moment so beautifully. The lighting suits the mood of the whole image very well and I like that they are both wearing stripes because it helps even more to tie them together. Congratulations on being the winner of this competition!

I love the composition and the expression on the couple's faces. You have captured so much feeling and there is no doubt that this was a special day. I would have rated this image much higher if it was sharp. Unfortunately, the whole photo is blurred due to camera movement. A shutter speed of 1/25 id very slow.
The combination of the smoke and his contemplative expression sets a great atmosphere for this portrait. The conversation to black and white I think also helps to shape the mood of the photo. I think cropping the top to illuminate or reduce the bright areas at the top of the image would help to improve it a little.
Great angle for this portrait. I think a more conventional angle would not have suited your subject so well as this one does. I like the lighting and your exposure. The blue sky behind reinforces the sense of hope we see in your subject's expression.. A slight change in your framing to avoid having the bright tree trunk behind the head would have improved the composition.
