This is a really interesting study. There is perhaps something a little tragic about father and son glued to their phones in such a way, but I guess many of us, myself included are guilty of this. It's a nicely seen image that's been well captured. Hopefully, it acts as a gentle reminder for us to get off our phones and start engaging with each other a bit more.

Images of folk doing things can be an effective way to make engaging images of people. And this image just proves the point. The cluster of silhouettes handling the parachute (?) makes a lovely image. The positioning of the various elements in the frame has been artfully considered.

A nice crisp, clean and well-executed image. I like the slightly muted colour palette. The lighting and tonality have been skillfully handled and there's a good catchlight in the subject's eye. The clean white background is simple and effective. Good work.

I've heard it said that red is one of the most difficult colours to work with. Well, this image is all about red and the limited palette has been handled with artistic insight and technical skill. A simple and effective idea that's been creatively realised. Excellent work.

This is an image jam-packed with attitude. A winning combination of the angle of view and cunning, clever lighting have all helped create a powerful photograph. The mixed lighting with the blue/green hues form the right add depth and drama. Good work.

A clever levitation technique is in play here. This is not an easy technique to master, it's easy enough to get the principles right - with practice, but to get the fabrics and body posture just right so that it feels authentic is an art. It's been done very well here. The blurred water is another great touch.

The low angle of view creates a strong and dynamic compsotion that works a treat. Despite the challenging lighting situation the photographer has done well. . The beautiful bokeh in the blurred background is lovely and creates an interesting framing device. Good work.

What a beautiful, quiet and thoughtful portrait. The lighting, choice of background and pose all work. The handling of the tones and the slight warmth to the black-and-white conversion were great choices. This is a lovely portrait, keep up the good work!

There's a quiet sense of contemplation in this image which I love. You really get a sense that the subject is meditating on the distant horizon. I'm intrigued by the title, 'Mr. Nobody, what does this mean? I have no idea, but it adds an interesting twist to the narrative.

A wonderful capture. The lighting is simply superb. It is very difficult to get the camera settings right in challenging lighting situations like this but the photographer has done extremely well to handle the exposure without killing the atmosphere. Kudos!

It is the striking and atmospheric sense of storytelling that makes this image stand out to me. The lighting, handingling of the tones and colour palette all play into the narrative very effectively. This is a challenging situation to work in and it's been skillfully handled. Well done.

What a lovely image, filled with fun and the spirit of experimentation. Using a glass of water to play with refractions, distortions and reflections was inspired and works really well. The crude lighting adds to the vibe along with the mono conversion. Good work!

What an excellent image that's been wonderfully seen and captureded, I sense echoes of photographers Martin Parr and Peter Dench bouncing around here. The little corner of blur in the bottom right adds a lovely sense of depth despite its relatively small presence in the overall frame.

Lovely use of colour, line and shape in this image. The echos of blue bouncing around the colour palette are wonderful. however, it is the beautiful, joyful expression of the subject that ultimately makes this such an engaging image. Good work.
