This is a solid and engaging portrait. I love it. The black-and-white conversion is excellent and reveals a stunning richness and depth. The lace fabric adds a beautiful texture and the deep, thoughtful and penetrating gaze of the subject is the icing on the cake.

The simple window light hitting the dancer is nicely considered and controlled. While the structure of the composition and the positioning of the dancer between the windows work well. The rough, semi-industrial buildings seen through the window add a lovely contrast to the scene.

What a powerful and impactful image, loaded with a sense of narrative. The simple lighting is superb and I love the way the left side of the subject's face is in deep shadow. The penetrating gaze and seeping 'blood' add to the story. Great work. Keep it up!

This is a lovely image, the composition is strong that light has been artfully seen. However, the photo is let down by excessive processing. A little restraint with the processing and this would have been in my top three. Otherwise, good work, keep It up.

An intriguing image and good capture. Shooting into the light is challenging, but in this instance, the photographer has pulled it off with skill. The backlight gives the flag a visceral vibrancy that makes it a lovely focal point. Good work keep it up.

Wow, what a wonderful explosion of colour. I love the use of cunning mixed-lighting techniques to make the image sing. Balancing a projected image, ultraviolet light and LED is not easy, yet the photographer has made it look effortless. Good work!

What a lovely, intriguing and well-seen street scene. The words 'To the River written on the wall suggest a sense of a mysterious narrative. The two protagonists of the story are perfectly positioned in the frame and their matching clothing creates lovely echoes in the comspotions.

A nicely captured portrait The colours, textures and shapes are nicely choreographed in the frame. I especially like that the photographer has taken the time to find out, take note and share in the caption a little of the framer's backstory.

This really is a lovely, romantic capture. Rich with intimate emotion. The river setting is an original and inspired idea, not only does it create the perfect setting for the romance to unfold it also produces great colours, textures, tones and shapes to frame the couple. Good work.

The faded, muted, blue/green colour palette with what looks, like specs of dust and scratches all play into the vibe of the image. This vibe of loneliness and isolation is also expressed in the image title, 'Feeling Blue. Good work in using the language of photography to express emotion. Keep it up!

An accomplished portrait. The distant gaze of the subject looking out the frame that makes this image shine, while the mask speaks of the times we live in now. The magnificent light and blurred background give the image resonance and depth.

Excellent use of reflections to make a beautiful and engaging portrait. The decision to convert to black and white was inspired and suits the subject very well. The quiet sense of contemplation evoked by the child's gaze has been artfully seen and captured. Good work.

I love a good shadow selfie. This is a great one, rich with a lovely intensity to the black and white tones. The slivers of grass on either side of the concrete path add a good sense of direction and help give the composition flow.

Pictures of people in the landscape are a lovely way to add a sense of scale and also aspiration. Without the figure, it would be difficult to get a sense of the vastness of this topography. The human subject also adds an aspirational element. Good work.
