Congratulations! This landscape portrait immediately caught my eye, not only for its themes of the contest, but the narrative is so well portrayed. This image is framed with cinematic references, this could make a strong photo series about girlhood, see the work by Megan Doherty and her use of street lighting within her portraits. Well done!

Great portrait! I read in your detail that this is a music portrait, I feel this genre is a special way to photograph subjects as they are representing their talent and personality. This has an androgynes tone here, please look at press shots for the band Suede, and its singer, Brett Anderson. Great!
I’ve chosen this image to review to further praise your choice of angle and balance of subject and architecture. There is much to consider when shooting in these tourist locations and deciding what to include and not in the final image. I feel the main stance of your model really makes the image stronger, it gives an openness to the visuals.

I’ve chosen this image to review to further commend your use of layers and balance of light in this portrait as a landscape. There is a distinct separation from background, street light and roofs to foreground, the crowds, I'd be tempted to simplify the background in post to bring more emphasis to your two subjects taking a selfie. Great use of colour!
Thank you for entering this contest! I found your image very reminiscent of a 1990s fashion editorial, there are many references to be made here, Nick Knight's lift video with Kate Moss, the Dirty Windows project by photographer Merry Alpern and the film, Rear Window. The silhouette is marked out very well, showing your models’ stance. Good job!
I appreciate the angle taken here, it feels like a natural approach to street/portrait photography and creates a special narrative, the choice to crop out the subject hints that an interaction is happening with your main featured model. I'd suggest playing with these angles next time you see a similar interaction like this, and frame it cinematically. Good!

Really fun portrait that focuses on both stillness and movement, you’ve captured your subject at a good angle where his face is in focus and recognisable in a wave of motion with the printed advert. For a future shoot, I would suggest shooting this style on colour and adjust its grading depending on the advert backdrop. The quality would be incredible.

I love the cinematic value this landscape shows and the choice to shoot this on film. Please continue to use film cameras, with results like this, your way of shooting in this style will shape your approach to portrait photography. I’d suggest editing the contrast of the shadow slightly darker and towel too, for more depth. Well done!
Thank you for submitting this photo to this contest, great subjects captured and colour tones with the landscape and striking orange. If you're interested to pursuing portraits like this in a future photoshoot, position your model within the full frame, as the feet being cropped out looses the impact. However, practise different angles!
This is a modern family portrait. Embrace this approach to documenting family situations, as it creates such an interesting insight to families and their day by day actions. In the foreground, the lighting is soft however the background looks flat with lack of tones, boost the contrast, and you'll have a fun portrait. Very good!
