Thank you for submitting this photo to this contest, great moment captured and grey tones with the shadows. You've captured your subjects at a good moment within your framed landscape. This angle is really interesting as it's often rare we see everyday commuters at this height. Well done!

Thank you for entering this contest! I found your image very fun, your model subject is a great narrative here. I love the fashion and beauty influence here, this would be a fascinating take on punk hair. De mystifying the myth of Mohawk stabilities. Good job, and the use of flash here adds more documentary style here.

I’ve chosen this image to review to further commend your use of narrative and sensitive approach to the subject. Your balance of light in this portrait as a landscape is well measured. There is so much detail in this, but it doesn’t overcrowd the overall purpose of the photo.

Really distorted portrait that shows various layers. You’ve captured this as a self-portrait and your reflection is recognisable in a wave of motion blur with details of water smears. This is reminiscent of Tracey Emin's self-portrait work, I'm also a fan of the tones you've used here too.

I appreciate the angle taken here, it feels such a natural approach to street/portrait photography and creates a warm narrative, Autumn is very evident here through the location and your subject's clothing. Great framing too, the close crop of the tree gives length to the portrait!

I commend your high production use for the result of this image, studio lights, model and set design. Well done, it’s very theatrical, and the snowflake props looks good. For your next shoot, I would create more of a character element and think about costumes! Well done!

I appreciate the angle taken here, it feels such a different and natural approach to documentary/portrait photography and creates an outsider narrative to the situation the viewer is looking at. There are many layers to this landscape, please look at Ian Weldon’s wedding photography at 'real' moments.

Congratulations! This landscape portrait immediately caught my eye, the narrative is so well shot. This image is framed with cinematic references, this could make a strong photo series about girlhood, see the work by Chloe Sheppard and her use of focal points within her portraits. Well done!

This is a sweet portrait and interesting framing, with the wide cropping, it looks like a still from a video you've taken on this special day. You've captured a moment which feels special, and the contrast in hand poses adds an extra detail not many would pick up. I'd suggest editing out the fisherman in the corner to bring more attention to the subject.

Really fun portrait that focuses on both stillness and detail, you’ve captured your model at a good angle where her face is in focus and recognisable in a wave of motion blur with displayed locks of hair. For a future shoot, I would propose shooting this style on black & white film with flash and diffuser attachment, the quality would be incredible.

I like the tones used here, and thank you for mentioning the production details behind this portrait. I read that this was shot on film and an ISO of 3200 is very strong, however, you have maintained great quality throughout.

Thank you for submitting this photo to this contest, great subjects captured, and the landscape is striking. If you're interested in editing this image, I would straighten the ocean horizon slightly. The wide angle approach with the heavy sky feature is fascinating here.

I’ve chosen this image to review to further commend your use of layers and balance of light in this portrait as a landscape. There is so much detail in this, but it doesn’t overcrowd the overall purpose of the image. I feel the hands really connect the view to the portrait, it gives an openness to the visuals.

I really love how delicate this portrait and the sense of calm it brings to the viewer. This is a great entry, you’ve balanced the lighting so well, especially with the indoor environment, as bulbs can have a yellow/warm tone. Good job!

This portrait is so reminiscent of the great work of Alec Soth. Soth uses the intensity of the subject to convey the mood and narrative of the overall portrait. I can see the beginnings of that here, capturing this on an iphone 11 is a great skill! I’d suggest recapturing this on colour film to further your creativity.
