Thank you for submitting this image. Great subject captured and sweet story behind the shot. The landscape is really vast here, with the intricate detail of the waves against the pull of the rope. The image is overall stronger without face contact, and you've made the best decision for this, good job!

Congratulations! This landscape portrait brought a calmness to the narrative. This image is framed with purpose to the landscape and your subjects. You've balanced the light exposure very effectively here too, I'd suggest boosting the contrast further in post to add more depth. Well done!

I want to highly credit this portrait for its studio efforts. The direction here, with your model, really suits the overall aesthetic. Keep experimenting with this approach, and research artists who have bleached Polaroids to enhance their portraits. Well done.

This image is so reminiscent of the great work of Dorothea Lange's 'Migrant Mother', with your approach to a similar sitter in an outdoor environment. I’m happy you shot from this angle, you captured a special gaze from the child to your lens. Keep up this unique skill in street photography!

Thank you for entering this contest! I found your image very reminiscent of 1990s grunge fashion, your model is adorning a timeless look with the graphic eye detail. I'd suggest playing more with angle within the foreground and its distortion. Great colour tones too!

I want to credit this portrait for its experimental efforts, the technique here is a long exposure with flash. After reading your production details, reading your light metre and set your camera to the suggested settings, especially with your shutter. Good luck!

I love the cinematic style this landscape portrait shows. An upwards view of an interaction with added movement from windswept hair. The grey overtone adds a film element too, I’d suggest editing the contrast here and experiment with grain. Well done!

I want to note this image as travel and cultural narrative. The framing is strong and If you're interested to pursuing portraits like this in a future photoshoot, I suggest you look into Alec Soth's portraits of the American landscape.

This is a sweet portrait and very well captured. The off-centre framing suggests a casualness to your sitter, which is emphasised by the laughing expression. I feel this was captured on film with the soft focusing and sharp foreground, very well done!

Really great cultural portrait that focuses on both stillness and movement, you’ve captured your main model at an angle where her face is in focus and recognisable in a wave of motion blur. Congrats! this would make for an interesting series!

I appreciate the angle taken here, it feels such a natural approach to street/portrait photography. You have captured this moment sensitive approach as your presence does not affect the sitter. Simple with a level grey tonal and attention to the foreground.

I highly commend your high production for the result of this image, studio lights, model, and use of film to amplify the strength of this portrait. Well done, it’s very theatrical and in your next studio session, test with the lighting and how it reacts to your backdrop. Good job!
