This is an exciting entry! The lighting here is a key part of this photo, it's matched the mood and activity from your subjects. Your choice of shutter speed is great, you've considered this well due to the environment. Brilliant!

I appreciate the angle taken here, it feels such a different approach to street photography and creates an alternative view. The lighting filling the frame and your subject is very well-balanced and not over exposed. Simple with a great frame!

I've commended your landscape / portrait, as I appreciate how difficult it is to capture within an underwater environment. You've managed to control this shot well with the inclusion of fish, this makes your narrative strong and provides a focal point.

Congratulations! This portrait immediately caught my eye and incredibly captured. The detail you've included is immense. This image is framed with cinematic references, I suggest you watch the film, Bait by Mark Jenkin. This will inspire you to pursue portraits with this approach.

Thank you for listing the production details and the story behind this interesting portrait. It's well framed and a really successful part of this is the aperture rate, shooting at f-stop 2 will guarantee a soft backdrop. Keep up this approach!

I really love how delicate this portrait and the sense of calm it brings to the eye. You’ve balanced the lighting so well that it creates a really strong silhouette. Great job, especially with the details of the hair is a success!

Congratulations. This is a great submission that shows street photography at its best. You've really considered all aesthetic elements of this image. With measured pastels, central framing with your subjects and good distance between the foreground and back. Excellent, please keep developing these skills!

I feel this photo has a lot of opportunity, however, you need to consider your framing and position choices. This would be stronger if the whole body was captured and the shopping bag to be cropped out. Keep practising shooting!

This is a great on location portrait and would be incredible as part of a documentary series about the festival. I suggest checking out Whitby goth festival, as I feel you enjoy portraits of alternative subjects. Great use of aperture, too.

I wish you included the information behind this image. It's a great entry with a cinematic approach to your framing. Another cinematic value is your direction of light, it's well balanced on your subject and shows the details in the woodwork nicely.

Thank you for submitting this photo to this contest, great subjects captured and colour tones with the landscape and striking orange. It's very interesting, the dynamic between the foreground and background. This is great if you wish to edit in the future!

This is a sweet portrait and interesting framing, I really like the space you've allowed for the strong steams of light that fills the portrait. I'd suggest in post to edit your contrast levels, this will create more depth to your dress.

I’m drawn to this image as the main narrative is not captured. I really like the focal difference between the foreground and background. This was due to your well measured aperture rate, however if you'd like more focus on the eye, I suggest using a tripod for this.

I love the cinematic value this landscape shows! It's enhanced as you've shot in black and white, too. This would make an incredible family portrait. Looking at your settings, I would introduce a higher aperture and ISO for max impact!
